It's been a full year at Nitro Sporthorses, lots of highs as well as lows. We've known the sting of failure, the darkness of grief, and the glory of success. For the lessons of the hard times and the happiness of the good times, we are thankful.

Pinch me, I'm dreaming! Loel and Berty competed in their first horse trial this weekend at Texas Rose horse park. Loel has worked, dreamed, and sacrificed for years to get here. So proud of them!

What a day at the Lessons with Lindsay Cooper October 20-21 clinic! We delved into biomechanics, fine-tuned our aids, and celebrated the first steps towards flying lead changes.

Lindsay Slough Cooper is offering a one-day ride-a-test on Oct 20th. Great opportunity to perfect your tests before the December show!

As Lindsay says, test riding is different than riding at home. You have to make different decisions in the test. I (Kari) experienced this firsthand at my last show as I made split second decisions in the test to make it the best ride possible.

Each rider will have 25 minutes with Lindsay to ride their tests, review problematic areas, receive coaching, and ride their test again.

PLEASE NOTE: Oct 21st clinic riders are welcome to work on their tests with Lindsay in their lesson on the 21st. The dressage arena will be set up both days.
