Cinnabon is as sweet as the confection that he’s named after. This is truly one of the sweetest, gentlest cats I have ever met. The whole time you are petting him, he’s making biscuits. This sweet guy had to leave his home, no fault of his own or the person that was taking care of him; it couldn’t be helped. But he is homesick, and we know he would do wonderfully in a new home. Who has thousands of homes in mind where these kittens can go? No one. There is nowhere for them to go! Shelters and rescues are overwhelmed. Euthanasia is happening to healthy animals all the time. We all can help with spay and neuter!

Pulled from a shelter in June of this year where his outcome was not good, “Teddy,Jr.” came to us at 5-6 weeks old with eyelid deformity, called eyelid Agenesis. With this deformity, He was missing part of his upper eyelids and his eyelashes were sweeping across his eyes every time he to blinked.

He would need surgery to correct the deformity, but was way too young and tiny. Cats already, have small eyelids, so time and keeping his eyes lubricated was the key to him growing and getting to a point that surgery could be performed.

Teddy is proud to say that he had his surgery a few days ago and doing great.

For some they are simple intake and then placed in homes, but others come in and require care for weeks to months before they can be placed.

Rescue is so much more than intake and adopting out.

Teddy Jr is one of the sweetest, kittens ever. So many suffer and die in shelters and as strays unnecessarily. We can’t stress enough how important SPAY/NEUTER.
That is the solution to the overwhelming numbers of animals.

His purr matches his name . His name is “Diesel” his purr is loud like a diesel motor.
He’s one of the most amazing cats ever. This guy has the best well rounded personality ever. He’s young, charming, loving, playful, cuddly, friendly, a talker, loveable…… the list goes on and on.

“MERRY CHRISTMAS “

All the kitties and humans here at PURRS of HOPE Rescue are so grateful for every one of you.

Because of you, we have been able to help hundreds (300+) cats/kittens this year. It has been an extremely hard year in many ways; from high volume intake, large numbers at TNR sites, lots of medical intake, adoptions were down, increase in expenses for everything and the man power needed to actually do the work was minimal and exhausting, but we did it.

Your support in every way has been the reason we were able to push through these trying times.

Murphy , 16 weeks old . This guy came in with a fractured rear leg .
We have been amazed by his recovery. We thought he would end up needing his leg amputated , BUT….. with time and care, his leg healed. He walks,runs and plays just like he never had an injury. His injured leg is a bit shorter so he has a slight limp. This doesn’t slow him down.
