What an incredible weekend at Regional 8 Championships! Both horses were amazing and personal bests were made. Pamela Quick and her very handsome Gaucho Wildfire rocked her 2-3 with a 71.4%👏🏼👏🏼 on to 3rd level! My own Reverie had a lovely warm up ride Friday with a 70% and finished 4th with a 68.8% in the Second Level open Championships✨ It definitely takes a village and I am so blessed for the support team around me. What a whirlwind the past couple weeks has been!! Firstly ‘Hits was a Hit’ with the ELC Crew getting out for our first show this summer. My own Reverie laid down two consistent tests besting 20 riders the first day 🥇and second 🥈 the next with the same score at 2-3. He showed so much poise and confidence for his first overnight show I couldn’t be more proud! ✨Pamela Quick and Gaucho Wildfire rode beautifully both days and are gaining so much confidence in the ring riding the much harder 2-3. If you have been following this pairs journey you know how much this means to everyone involved👏🏼👏🏼 I couldn’t do any of this without the help and support of my wonderful mom flying in so everything could go so smoothly! We were able to sneak away for a weekend getaway for my husbands birthday and had a wonderful time with the kids on the beach! Thank you for allowing us to rent your beautiful cottage! We’ll be back for sure!

Mr. Baby boy, aka Reverie (Revolution x Belissimo M) had his first hack in his new double bridle in the woods💙 I introduce the doubles over the course of many weeks with hacking and no pressure walking so they can get used to the two bits with no thoughts about it.

A little snippet from our warm up this weekend❤️ It’s been a journey to get to this point with my own baby Rev. I am so proud of how well he handles the atmosphere and the confidence he’s starting to gain with me to be able ask for a little more mature frame. This season I wasn’t planning on showing at all. I had hoped to get him to a place of confidence physically and mentally from a tough several months of some big struggles. Through some much needed lessons with @ebelingdressage and quiet no pressure outings he started so show me he was ready to go down centerline. Now we go home with qualifying scores and a newly reliable show horse. Thank you to everyone who helped me to get him feeling his best! Good boy buddy👏🏼👏🏼

It was baby Rev’s (Reverie, Revolution x Belissimo M) turn to head over to lesson with @ebeling_dressage and I could not have been more proud of how he handled his first school off property!! I loved the transformation of his trot work from beginning to end with work on lots of mini transitions. Creating a more uphill shape really showed some Big Boy moments. Elongating his topline is my focus here to encourage the swing through his back. The gaits and movement are all there which he finds easy to show off but this part is so important.
