We will be open from 12:30-4:30 today. We are limited to one doctor and technician due to road conditions, so we will only be able accommodate sick/emergent cases. If there is no answer when you call please leave a message and we will return your call as fast as possible. We are sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience. We will hopefully be back on our normal schedule tomorrow. Hope everyone enjoys the snow and stays safe.

If your pet needs an exam/updated vaccinations for boarding, or if you need a medication or food refill, please plan ahead and contact us as soon as possible. We will NOT be in the office during our closures and will not be available for refills or other services.

As the weather warms up, it's important to keep a few things in mind for the health and safety of our pets. Here are some tips to consider: 1. Staying up to date on prevention! Prevention should be year round, but warm weather especially brings out ticks, fleas, and other parasites. 2. Hydration! Ensure your pets have access to plenty of fresh water to stay hydrated. 3. Heat safety! Be mindful of heat exhaustion and heatstroke in pets, especially in hot cars or during strenuous exercise. 4. Many of us look forward to travels and outdoor adventures with our furry companions. Any guesses on what these creepy crawlers are?!?! 🔬 🐕 The patient was a puppy. 👂 They were found in her ears. 🔍 symptoms include shaking of the head, scratching at their ears, a black or brown discharge, redness and general irritation of the ears. If you guessed ear mites, you would be correct! 🕷️ 🐾 Ear infections can cause similar symptoms so it is always important to make an appointment if you have any concerns regarding your pets ears to make sure they are treated properly!

Who doesn’t love a beautiful basket of puppies?! 🐶💕 Did you know that puppies don’t open their eyes until approximately ten days or up to two weeks? 👀 Hearing is the last sense that puppies fully develop — they can’t hear until about three weeks old. 👂 Puppies navigate by smell from the moment they are born — Smell is a dog's most prominent sense and the one that is the most different from ours. It has been estimated that a dog's sense of smell is 100,000 times more powerful than a human's! 👃
