It was an interesting day in the saddle store . We traded for a nice mule saddle, and had a genuine Fallis balanced ride come in also.

We rode this classic, hand built saddle on trail ride this week, and it's just as comfortable as it is solid. Only $675 here at the Saddle Store. You can find us just north of the Franklin County fairgrounds in beautiful Hampton Iowa. We are open tomorrow (Saturday) from 9 until 4.

Welcome to The Saddle Store!
For more than 20 years we have been known as St. Ansgar Saddle Company, and still have a website by that name.
We were originally located in St Ansgar Iowa, hence the name.
Recently we have moved back to our hometown of Hampton, Iowa, and feel its time to start working toward a name change ( we still have people travelling to St.Ansgar in search of our store).
The Saddle Store seemed like a perfect name, since we like and deal in all sorts of tack and equipment...but saddles have always been our passion.
It's such a passion that we currently inventory over 600 new and used saddle in our two large buildings here in Hampton, Iowa.
Our store is not a full time job, we still work at sheep shearing seasonally, but we are available by appointment much of the week, AND WE ARE ALWAY'S OPEN ON SATURDAYS!
These buisness hours have worked well for us over the 2 decades. We have extra help on the weekends for fitting horses and the place is bustling with activity right here each and every Saturday.
No need for Saturday appointments, we are here from 9 until 4!
