3 years ago I woke up to a screaming puppy. I panicked realizing I had fallen asleep and ran to Epic to check her two day old puppies. They were all accounted for and.. quiet, but I could still hear a screaming puppy. Ember did too and as I walked back into my living room trying to find the source of the sound, Ember brought me a very cold (and mad) puppy. That's when full panic ensued because Siren wasn't due for another week! I actually thought it was a squirrel or some other small animal at first (I was tired after no sleep from Epic and her babies). Once I gathered myself (and checked my yard), I realized Siren decided to have her babies on day 55 gestation. This was my first AHT litter and my second solo litter (with the first being born two days prior), so I knew this probably wasn't going to end well. Over the next couple of hours Siren brought four itty bitty puppies into this world. Luckily with the help of many breeders with more experience than me, we somehow kept all 4 alive. I learned how to tube feed and how valuable my incubator was during those first few days. Happy third birthday to my spice litter! Trout (at the bridge), Pigeon, Ouija and Veet.

NEW CH Rensai Dreams Come True BCAT CGC TKN "Reid" handled, owned and loved by Tracy & Dave Pollard & Renee Sainato. Bred by Renee Sainato, Elizabeth Staley , Deirdre Simon & Katie Coleman.

Reid is from our Huxley x Epic litter and is the first puppy to earn a Champion title from that litter (but he has two sisters who are pointed!) I

I cannot thank his owner's enough for loving him, they have done a fantastic job with his training and showing career. The future is bright, I can't wait to see what they accomplish next!

Happy first birthday to my Gangster Litter. Cedyr and Siren made some pretty awesome puppies! I have 3 puppies working towards performance and show titles and all 8 are loved members of their family. Thank you Jo Smithers Trapp for letting me bring Siren to Cedyr. I think they made some pretty great babies!

We're excited to announce we will be moving back home to VA in two weeks! We will be based out of Hampton, VA. The dogs and I are very excited about our new house and we can't wait to make new memories.

Puppies went to a Frisbee competition today where they met up with their brother, Ringer! Ringer and Carbon loved playing Frisbee like the big dogs and I bet we'll see them on the field!

Snafu (Ego x Pixel) is still looking for his own person to love. He's 11 weeks old (DOB 08/04/2023). We'll be in Florida until mid November and then we'll all be moving to VA. Snafu is welcome to stay here as long as he needs but he deserves a family of his own. Snafu is a very sweet and cuddly boy. He's a little reserved at first but once you take a moment to get to know him he is just the cutest. He loves to carry the biggest sticks he can find around the yard, he thinks ground beef is the bestest training treat and he loves going on new adventures with us! He's been raised with puppy culture and AviDog puppy raising techniques. He is crate trained and sleeps through the night in his crate. He's not overly mouthy for a puppy but that's subjective as AHTs are some of the worst! He's been raised around both large and small dogs, cats and kids. He is fine with them all and is very respectful of the adult dogs. He doesn't enjoy overly rough playing but he's confident enough to not let it get to him either. He likes food a lot and does enjoy training sessions. He's currently working on House training, basic obedience and leash manners. He is show quality and could probably do well in some companion events as well but would be just as happy being someone's pet. **Cuervo has found his new home**

Cuervo (formally known as Don Pablo) is also still looking for his new home! His DOB is 06/26/2023 and he's out of Cedyr x Siren. He needs an active home. He would make a great performance dog and I've had a blast training him. He's pretty much fully crate trained and as long as he's supervised does well with not having accidents in the house. He's very social and gets along with everything from kids to dogs to cats. Not much really phases him at all and he's always up for an adventure. He travels well in the car and we're working on leash manners. He has decent food and toy drive and is very willing to work. While I would like to place him in a performance home, I will consider active pet homes for him as well. He knows how to sit, stay, come when called and play fetch. We're working up to a trick dog title currently and I expect to be ready to test him soon. He is 14 weeks old and we're focusing on lots of environmental socialization right now. He is welcome to stay here until his perfect person comes along, no matter how long that will take. Snafu (DOB 08/04/2023) out of Ego x Pixel is looking for a home of his own. He is a bit calmer than his siblings but don't let that fool you, he still has a wild streak in him! He's social with other dogs, kids, adults and cats. He especially loves Epic, the Flat Coat. He's down to cuddle on the couch or play a game of fetch. His ideal home will be looking for a companion who wants to be active but still will throw in some lazy days. He could be shown and do performance or just be an active pet, I don't think he'll care as long as he gets time with his people every day. He's litterbox trained and we're currently working on crate and house training. He's ready to go home now! All of my puppies are raised with Puppy Culture and AviDog protocols with emphasis on early socialization. Puppies are raised in my home around other dogs, cats, reptiles and children. They're up to date on all age appropriate vaccines, preventative and have been evaluated and given a clean bill of health from my vet. Puppies come with 30 free days of Trupanion Pet Insurance, prepaid AKC registration and a prepaid microchip. These guys are litterbox trained and working on house and crate training. Parents are titled in multiple sports and conformation and health tested.

Don Pablo and Benny are still looking for their homes. They are 9.5 weeks old and ready to leave this weekend! They have been raised in my home using puppy culture and AviDog puppy raising techniques. Puppies are up to date on age appropriate vaccines and have been given a clean bill of health from my vet stating they are healthy and free of parasites. They come with prepaid AKC registration, prepaid microchip and lifelong breeder support.

Benny is being sold as a pet only. He's very sweet and would love a person of his own. He loves to snuggle on the couch and watch TV. He's a pretty "middle of the pack" puppy who seems to just go with the flow. He may enjoy dabbling in some sports but would probably be just as content as being the family dog too. Benny currently has a small overbite and while it's just a cosmetic issue, it's not something I want in the genepool.

Don Pablo can be sold as a pet or a show dog. He's one of my more outgoing puppies but gets his feelings hurt easily when he's told he's wrong. He could be a performance dog, juniors dog and is what I'd consider show quality. He's confident and seems to always be having a good day (until he's told otherwise). He can be a little pushy with his littermates and is a bit more "typical" AHT puppy. He has decent toy and food drive and is definitely willing to work for his rewards.

Pixel gave us 6 healthy babies yesterday. We have two hairless males, one coated male, two hairless females and one coated female.

There may be an available puppy from this litter I am unsure if it'll be coated or hairless but if you're interested please fill out the puppy application below. These puppies should excel in the conformation and the performance ring and make nice all around dogs. Like all of my puppies, puppies are raised with puppy culture and AviDog. We do Early Neurological Stimulation and Early Scent Introduction. Puppies are exposed to a lot of different sights and sounds, as well as raised around children, other dogs (both large and small), cats and reptiles. We also temperament test puppies and place our puppies in the most suitable home for them.

I prioritize good temperaments in my dogs and both of these dogs have some of the best. Ego is one of the coolest dogs I've met and Pixel makes friends everywhere she goes.

Very proud of these two ladies (and their boys). Today they both attended a dog show and came home with points towards their Championships.

Rensai Ash of the North Forty CGC TKI "Ash" took Best of Winners today in Ocala, FL for another point towards his CH. Ash is from the Epic x Negrito breeding (Flat Coat)

Rensai Inspired Feel My Impact TKN "Richter" was Winners Dog today for a major win towards his CH.
Richter is from the Siren x Netflix breeding (American Hairless)

Both boys are soley owner handled.

AHTCA 2022 nationals update

Wow, I had so much fun. I got to see dogs I've been wanting to see in person for awhile. The quality of the lineups have improved so much over the past 5 years due to so many breeders truly working to move the breed forward. We still have a long way to go but we're definitely moving in the right direction. I never had the opportunity to meet Bonnie Turner but there's no doubt that she'd be proud of what the breed has accomplished. Now for the updates-

Friday (AHTCA National)-
Sweeps-
Lovey (Siren x Netflix) owned by Jo Smithers Trapp won her class.
Pixel (Siren x Netflix) owned by me took second in her class to Lovey
Ouija (Siren x Kash) owned by me won her class
Ricky (Siren x Netflix) owned by Katie Coleman won his class and then went Best in Sweeps in a 30 dog entry!

Siren and I had the opportunity to show in the Top 20 ceremony and it was such a cool experience, I'm not sure I'll ever have a dog ranked again but I definitely recommend going. The ribbon and grooming tote we were given are stunning.

As 2022 comes to an end, it's time to start thinking about 2023 breeding plans:

We're planning a Spring 2023 Flat Coated Retriever litter with Epic. Puppies will be black but there will be a small possibility for liver too. We are expecting well rounded puppies with both beauty and brains who will not only excel in the Conformation Ring, but will also be great performance/active companions.

We're also planning a Spring 2023 AHT litter. This will be Siren's final litter before she's spayed and enjoys retired life on the couch (well she already enjoys life on the couch but she can do it full time soon!). The litter will be all hairless with both solid and piebald puppies including red sable and blue/blue fawn. These puppies should have wonderful temperaments with sound structure. I expect them to have biddable personalities with a medium energy/drive.

There is a small possibility we'll also have a late fall 2023 AHT litter out of Ouija, pending health testing and finishing her CH. I may also be exhausted from the other two litters and will opt to wait until 2024 ;)
I have not picked out a sire for Ouija since this litter is contingent on a few things but Ouija has a wonderful temperament and wants nothing more than all of your attention. She's not as drivey as her mother or half sister but I still expect her to throw puppies similar to Siren in temperament (although they may be a little more "terrier" in the biddability department).

None of my puppy applications are currently open for these litters and won't be until at least January, if not later. I will post when they're available on here, the Facebook group and send an email out to everyone on my email list. If you have any questions regarding any litter please reach out. I do not keep a traditional waitlist and my puppies are not sold first come first serve. Once I open up my applications, I will begin to screen interested homes and see if I have a puppy whose needs will match yours.
