The last 3 clutches have all been laid 24 hours after I posted a pic of the mom on IG. So maybe if I bully this girl a little bit she’ll release the hostages.

Had 3 eggs from a Mojave Clown x Cinnamon Special pairing. 1 in 4 chance of hitting a crystal. And somehow the odds gods smiled on me. All 3 babies are crystals. I just love the subtle pattern and the pale purples.

Unfortunately it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. Started this clutch with 9 eggs. 1 went bad, I believe due to water dripping on it in the egg box. And today I decided to cut the last egg that hadn’t pipped, and the baby was dead in the egg. No tangled umbilical cord, no obvious deformities. Sometimes s**t just happens.

73 ASF weans pulled from just two 1.3 colonies. These little guys slowed down over winter but now that it’s warming up they are kicking it into high gear with breeding.

Are you for Team Light or Team Dark? Either way, this brother/sister pair is stunning!
Lesser HRA Spotnose Clown and HRA Spotnose Clown (at least as far as I can tell). Amazing that one morph makes such a difference in color and pattern. I’m still amazed that I produced these babies, and I’m repeating the pairing this year!

I love the blue eyes on this mystic potion het clown girl! Making allelic combos for my projects has been one of my main breeding goals so that I can boost my future odds. The fact that they’re so beautiful is just an added bonus!
