⚠️🚙⚠️ Despite the warnings, hundreds of dogs in the U.S. die every year after being left in a hot car. Someone you know may need to read this very important message. ⚠️🚙⚠️

SIX MINUTES is all it takes for a dog to overheat in a hot car.

Your dog could suffer serious injury or die in a matter of minutes if left alone in a car.

• The temperature inside a closed vehicle left in the sun can double within 12 minutes.

• At least 75% of the temperature increase in a closed vehicle occurs within 5 minutes of closing the vehicle, and at least 89% of the temperature increase occurs within 15 minutes of closing the vehicle.

• Temperatures exceeding 104˚ F can lead to death or serious injury for the occupants.

• Temperatures in a closed vehicle sitting in the hot sun can reach 160˚F and above. An animal will suffer immeasurably and may die before the temperature reaches 150˚F.

• Even when parked in the shade, the vehicle temperatures can exceed 104˚C.

• Leaving windows down more than 2 inches on an unattended vehicle will not prevent a car from reaching extreme temperatures.

• Even if the animal is revived, they can die due to severe internal organ damage.

Your dog trusts you to have their best interest at heart ALWAYS.
Please don’t risk their safety.

If you are not taking your dog inside your destination with you, PLEASE leave them at home where they are comfortable and safe.

Hi everyone,
Gee, it has been a while since I posted. But today I have important news to share.

Secondly, I am working at a new venue this year. On November 18th and 19th I will be in the Bangor Mall. My booth is GF 56, which is in Store 11 G-Force. I look forward to seeing many eager shoppers a week before Black Friday. It should be fun~

Hi guys,
How has your summer been so far? It's going way too fast, I know that. Winter goes by slowly on the other hand
I am a little concerned. There have been very few collar orders on the web site. none so far in August. Should I start panicking? Is it just the economy? Let me know if I need to do something different. I am super busy, so I haven't been communicating much on here. Social media just doesn't interest me that much. When I am not sewing, I love to garden, to be outside listening to the birds-- all of that destressing stuff.
Tell me what you all do in the summer?
Oh and tomorrow is the Winter Harbor Lobster Festival. Craft fair, lobster dinner, boat races, so much fun! Hope to see some of you there.

Hi everyone,
To all my local customers, I have some exciting news. (At least it is exciting to me!)
Salsbury's Organics in Town Hill is now carrying a floor display of my collars. There was no "grand opening" or anything like that, but I am hoping that my products will help inspire more people to buy local instead of from the big box stores!
Buying local is very important, especially during this very long and seemingly unending pandemic. Small businesses are struggling to stay open to continue to serve their communities. It is so tempting to buy at the least expensive store, but in a lot of cases, least expensive can be "cheap" in many ways.
So, after the long winter we had, doesn't your dog deserve something colorful and well made? After all, we start wearing brighter clothing to welcome spring--why not our beloved pets?

I regret to say that I will not be able to attend the specialty as "The Truman Collar" this year. I was so looking forward to it, but due to some problems this month I just can't do it.
Normally I have time to make lots of product to meet the demand of my loyal customers. You know how they say, things happen in 3's? Well, I had the 3's of all time!
But please call or message me with what you planned to get for your beauties as I have some new Edelweiss designs for y'all.
