Clyde and Sgt. Bosco are two fun loving puppies. We knew when we started to get a hint of warm weather, we had to get these kids together for a play date. They both did amazing! Our Eagle Scout candidate Adrian Lee was promoted today!! You may remember that Adrian chose SAMS for his Eagle project, building and installing 2 catios for our colony cats to enjoy! They allow the cats to explore the sights, smells and sounds of the outdoors while staying enclosed and safe. :) This project has brought so much enrichment to our shelter and we are beyond grateful to Adrian and troop 57 for all their hard work. Congratulations, Eagle Scout!!

Clyde, what kind of dog are you?? He has such a unique look, and we've all been trying to figure it out. So our new Shelter Associate Chloe bought him a DNA test! We should have results in 2 weeks... while we wait, we thought it would be fun to have a contest! Whoever guesses closest to his DNA results wins a SAMS shirt! Comment below with up to 3 breeds you think might represent Clyde! For reference, he's full grown and about 70 pounds. Good luck!

Kyra just did inventory and realized we’re getting low on wet cat food, wet kitten food, and litter! She takes our food stock very seriously. If you are able to donate, our preferred brand of adult wet food is Friskies Pate. For kitten food we like fancy feast pate. And any clumping cat litter will do, but TidyCats is our favorite. Kyra, and all of our other cats and kittens, will be so grateful!
