This past weekend we took our first trip to Tryon International Equestrian Center & Resort and had a wonderful time.

Penny and Kindle looked amazing and brought home some ribbons at their first rated show. We were super impressed with Kindle - she behaved liked a seasoned show horse despite running her last race on 8/15/24.

Jodie also showed Jess Boppe’s Hickstead Mist and Hannah Dan’s Complimento.

It’s almost 2 months since we lost Randy, but we haven’t stopped thinking about him. The barn still isn’t quite right without his shinanigans, low grumbles when he wanted something, the noises from him cribbing, and Marshall yelling “Randall!” Despite his quirkiness, Randy opened many doors for the business and built a lot of positive relationships over the past couple of years.

Thank you to PonyLocks Custom Horsehair Jewelry for handcrafting belts with Randy’s tail for Dillyn and Jodie. They now get to wear a piece of him wherever they go.

Big, quiet, and amateur friendly!

Sammy is a big boy with a kind eye and a lovely expression. He's an easy going guy and could go in different directions. He has a nice uphill build and carries himself well. Ridden by an amateur for his first and second post track rides. We trotted him over a couple of jumps recently and he’s totally willing and unfazed. He is currently RRP eligible.

The journey with horses is always an adventure.

Vicky and Greg learned this when they got involved with horses… and even more so when they made the decision to build a small barn and bring horses home.

However, we have to celebrate the biggest win about their journey. Today, they both rode their horses together! It’s a reminder that winning with horses isn’t always with blue ribbons.

We’re happy to be along on this ride with you both! 🎉

Your beginning was rough, but then you found your forever home. We love you buddy 💔

Randy was involved in a freak trailer incident on Friday afternoon after a wonderful schooling session. The incident reminded us to be thankful for every ride and how supportive the horse community can be.
