It’s a hot one, so it’s bath day for the horses and ponies. Tulie is rocking a running braid to help keep her a bit cooler over the next few days (minutes?). Any guesses how long she’ll keep it in?

Today’s travels took us to the lovely Wyndham Oaks for the second FADS show of the season. It was a hot one, but the misting fan once again kept horses and humans a bit more comfortable between classes.

Lexie kicked us off with a schooling ride on Davis, managing not only to calm the chestnut spice nugget, but bringing home a very respectable score of 65+ and a blue ribbon. Very well done!

Paige was not to be outdone, riding two outstanding tests on Ms. Mona with very good scores also earning two blue ribbons. Nice to see this pair shine. Did I mention Paige scored over 70%? Y’all know what this means - Dan better be washing those white britches cause he’s on deck for Intro B!

Leah also represented herself well managing a few spicy canter transitions to put together two well ridden tests. Scores again over 65% reflect that this team is also on the right track. Nice job, Leah!

As always, I am super proud of our riders for their poise, maturity, solid riding and sportsmanship. Looking forward to the rest of the season!
