I haven’t posted in a while. Mostly due to time. Winter has kept us busy. Here are some pics of some of the dogs in training and some some dog owners. There are still so many left to post. Enjoy the many different breeds. All of them have been special and awesome Love, Peace, and Happiness. The nice weather is almost here. 😊

6 year old Caleb doing a great job handling 7 month old German Shepherd Gracie today. Gracie just completed the one week board and train program. They came for their follow up today. Gracie is from European bloodlines. She was picking on Caleb biting at him. Or was that the other way around? Their relationship definitely needed some fixing up. The kid’s a natural 👍

Yogi, Approx 1.5 year old Belgian Malinois Rescue. He’s in for Obedience & Behavior Work. Coming along quite nice. Working on social skills with the guys at the hardware store.

Would ya just look at those ears! He’s a big puppy. Yogi, 1.5 year old Belgian Malinois rescue. O know the owner from a prior dog 10 years plus ago. He likes a challenge. He is determined. Yogi’s not for the faint of heart. Bad childhood or something.

Happy Holidays! 🌲 Some recent pups lucky enough to train with us around the holidays. They just loved being dressed up. 😆 I look forward to helping more dogs and their owners in 2025.

It was great seeing Ollie today. He’s one of my personal favorites. Big, strong, handsome, dominant dog. Teaching him how to walk nice with his owner. He can be like Baby Huey at times. He’s very aware of his size and strength. Not a mean bone in his body.

We had a good size turn out for our annual Gunstock dog rescue fundraiser event. If you missed it, you missed it.. I wish I had got more pics but found myself to be very busy. Thanks to all that attended. Hope to see you all next year.

Annual Local Animal Shelter/Rescue Fundraiser Party Event! 📣 The awarding shelter/rescue will be announced at the event. This charity event will be held here at the THK9 training field. There will be plenty of parking available. This is an on leash event and a great training opportunity for all of us training enthusiasts. Dogs that are in training or already trained, are welcome. Be courteous to other dogs and handlers. Respect personal space. Pls be prepared to clean up after your pup.
South Shores Favorite Classic Rock Band Gun Powder and Lead will be performing. Bring a chair and a cooler with your beverage of choice. We will have vendors selling their wares, as well.

Teaching Chip, a 3 year old Maltipoo, off leash work. Chip came in anxious, nervous, fearful especially with men. He wouldn’t stop barking. He barked at everyone and everything. A bit difficult to live with. It was cool watching his transition into a better mental place. It did take some time to bring him back to earth. He had been in that state since he was a puppy.

A couple recent little graduates. The Doberman puppy, Tris, really won me over. She was very cute and entertaining.
Teddy the Frenchie in for dog aggression issues. I’d say he did very well. Chip, the little maltipoo is also coming along well and really making me work. Outfits and creative ideas by Jody. 🙂
