Saturdays Starting Sept 20th
Intro to Dog Sports Group Class
5 week group class, limit 6 dogs, $195

6:30-7:30PM: In this 5 week group class we will cover foundation behaviors that will be applicable for a wide variety of sports. We will talk about play and how to incorporate that into your training with your dog. We will also work on impulse control and body awareness. After this 5 week course you will have the tools and an understanding of what sport might best fit you and your dog.

Week 1: General Foundations

Week 2: Rally

Week 3: Agility

Week 4: Flyball

Week 5: Scentwork

Prerequisite: Dog should have some basic obedience skills and be able to have focus to work off leash with handler

NOTE: If you want to sign up for this class but you already do scentwork with your dog please send an email and we can pro-rate the class for you for 4 weeks. We are ONLY offering this for scentwork and not any of the other classes.

Performance Puppy Group Class
5 week class, limit 6 dogs, $195

5:15-6:15PM: The main premise of this puppy class is building engagement and focus!

We will be building calm focus games as well with increasing levels of distraction.

Foundation tug/play and food games -Building confidence with various surfaces

Foundation obedience behaviors (sit, down, stand, stay)

Impulse control

Body awareness

Body handling and other skills for vet visits and grooming

and much more!

-What to bring: For this class we will use food and toy reinforcements. You will need a 4-6ft fixed leash.

Please note: this is not your typical puppy class, this is focused towards puppies or young dogs who will be going into sports so our primary focus is this and not puppy play time.

3:30PM: In this group class we will introduce you and your dog to Novice AKC rally courses! We will not covered focused heeling in this course, we will be focusing more on instruction of the rally signs. If you are interested in focused heeling, contact us for a private lesson!

Due to high demand we added another agility for fun class!

Tuesdays Starting Sept 9th
Agility For Fun Group Class
6 week class, limit 6 dogs, $225

6:15-7:15PM: This class is for those we are interested in doing agility with their dog just for fun (not for competition, however you will learn most of the skills if you ever did want to compete with your dog and could easily transfer to a competition class). We will introduce your dog (if they haven’t been already) to the obstacles in agility including: jumps, tunnels, A-frame, dog walk, teeter, and weave poles. Dogs who are reactive please reach out before booking. Dogs will work one at a time in this class on the agility course so please be prepared to either work your dog out of the car or have control over them when it is not their turn (we have crates and place beds available for use).

-What to bring: for this class we will use food and toy reinforcements so please bring both!
-Prerequisites: Basic Obedience or similar group class, your dog will need to be able to work off leash with distractions. If you have any questions on whether your dog is ready for this class or they are reactive, please contact us to set up a consultation first to make sure this class is appropriate for them.

Upcoming HR Run Thrus and Intro Workshops!

Intro to Happy Ratters Workshops
$40/dog, 5 dogs a session, two sessions

In this one hour workshop instructor Marianne Hall will introduce you and your dog to the sport of Happy Ratters! In this sport dogs find rats in tubes in a variety of settings. The rats are not harmed in this sport and are extremely well cared for. Dogs will work one at a time. Any dog can play Happy Ratters! If your dog isn’t naturally crazy about vermin you can train this sport just like any other and it can be a great outlet for your dog. Two sessions: 9-10am and 10:30-11:30am

Rally is BACK September 15th!

NEW! 4-5PM: Novice-Advanced RUN THRUS! $20 for 2 runs without instruction! There will be a nested course set up and you will get 2 runs (round robin). You can sign up multiple dogs for the run thrus as dogs will run one at a time in the building or you can purchase 2 runs and use 1 run for one dog and 1 run for another! This class must enter through door #2 as we have day school go homes happening on the rubber area, which provides a great environmental distraction for run thrus!

Our Dog Trainer Program is back for Oct/Nov 2025!

This intensive program will run for a month starting the week of Oct 20th. We will meet twice a week each week (for 4 weeks total, 8 total classes) for 2 hours.
There is one week we will only meet once due to my schedule and it will be made up at the end on a Monday as seen below.
The schedule will be as follows:
Class #1: Monday October 20th 7-9pm
Class #2: Wednesday October 22nd 6-8pm
Class #3: Monday October 27th 7-9pm
Class #4: Monday November 3rd 7-9pm
Class #5: Wednesday November 5th 6-8pm
Class #6: Monday November 10th 7-9pm
Class #7: Wednesday November 12th 6-8pm
Class #8: Monday November 17th 7-9pm

This program is not only for people who are interested in becoming dog trainers, it is also open to those who just want to dive deeper into training theory for their own dogs, as well as other dog professionals such as vet techs, groomers, dog walkers and more!

During these sessions we will discuss in-depth dog training covering a wide variety of topics (basic pet obedience, competition obedience, reactivity and over-arousal, building drive and confidence, sport specific skills, and more) and these topics will be tailored to the selected group. I will be selecting a small group of people to enroll in the program. We will work on skills using your own dogs as well as other dogs to get some hands on experience. We will also cover and discuss client communication. There will be homework!
