True Magic Golden Retrievers is not a kennel or a puppy mill, simply a family that loves dogs, specifically Golden Retrievers. We have had a number of different breeds over the years, but we've found that Goldens offer the type of temperament we are looking for whether for a show dog, obedience, or for a family companion. Our “babies" as we call them, are part of our family. They live in our house

, lay on our sofa and usually sleep in our bed. We are located in Hanover, PA, just over the Maryland line. We are members of the Golden Retriever Club of America and the Potomac Valley Golden Retriever Club.

In order for Sable to get approval to participate as a therapy dog with My Caring Paws, she had to be evaluated during a group event in two different types of environments. Today, we attended an event at McDaniel College visiting some students with mental challenges.

As we all knew would be the case, she rocked it! One nice student sat and petted her for at least 20 minutes. Another wanted her picture taken with Sable.

Sable is the most gentle and loving soul I’ve ever seen. So very proud of this sweetheart!

Thank you to our wonderful neighbors and puppy assistant extraordinaire Kevin and Lori for our early Christmas gift. I love it! It reminds me of Trixie, the one and only!
