KSEquestrian, LLC Specializing in the training of young horses to compete in eventing and jumpers. Also, retraining horses that have developed adverse training habits.

KSEquestrian is dedicated to the improvement of the equestrian athlete whether it be horse or rider. The principles of our training are founded in classical riding. It doesn't matter what type/breed of horse that you own or the discipline in which you ride. Everyone can gain improvement in their riding skills from riding and training with KSE

Meet Kyle Smith

Is a member of the Ohio State Univer

sity class of 2010 with a major in Agricultural Business and minor in Equine Science. He is an accomplished rider having competed through the CCI** and has competed in the NAJYRC 3 times with Summer’s Gift and was a member of the winning team at the USEF Jr/Young Rider Team Championships at 2008 Hagyard CCI* on Stunt Pilot who was also named USEF Amateur Reserve Champion. More recently, he was one of the recipients of the USPC Grand Prix award as a member of the winning Preliminary level team at USPC Championships. The Grand Prix award was certainly ‘grand’ as it was an all expense paid 11 day trip to Ireland! In addition to the trip to Ireland, Kyle had a busy year as he was a participating instructor at the two USEA/ICP workshops and successfully passed the ICP Level I assessment. He also spent the summer working with Sarah and Eric Dierks at their Overlook Farm in Va. Both of these opportunities were possible thanks to the Worth the Trust Scholarship sponsored by Joan Goswell.

A little clip of me long lining Star. Jenni Gaffney's youngster who is here to get started. It won't be long before I start riding him. I have found that taking the time to prepare the youngsters saves a lot of time and frustration for both the horse and myself once I get on.

Cuernsey Z “Zangersheide” (Cozzete) is a 6yr 16.1 Belgium warmblood mare imported from England with a 1 star underneath her belt. Due to a change of circumstances with her new owners she is offered for sale. Cozzete is a amateur friendly event or hunter prospect. This is sams first ride on Cozzete. Pm for more details.

Jack's round in the $15,000 Hunter Derby at the Vermont Summer Celebration. He ended up 15th out of 33 and without the 10 point deduction he would have been 8th had he not switched leads before a fence rather than after.

Here's a video of one of Jack's winning rounds. Not too shabby considering Lauren has only been riding him a couple of weeks!

Margee is 10 yr old Argentinian thoroughbred that is 15.3. She would make for a lovely amateurs horse. She does require a sensitive ride but she will jump anything that you will put in front of her. For a year and a half she has been leased to a 15 year old girl to jump 2'11''. She is competing at 3'3'' this spring and has been schooling 3'6'' with potential to do more. In this video she is school jumps from 3'3'' to 3'6'' in height with the majority being 3'6''. The width of the oxers between 3'5'' to 3'10''
