How long does this doodle haircut take? This is Panini & she’s a labradoodle who comes in every 6 weeks for a bath & haircut! Her family likes to keep her super long & fluffy to look like a little plush toy! We keep her at 1inch all over which happens to be the longest length we offer! I know ONE inch of hair doesn’t sound like too much work, but oh boy is it ever!! If you want your dogs hair to be this long you have to be dedicated to keeping them extremely well brushed to avoid matting! Panini’s family is AMAZING at keeping her super well brushed & rarely has even a single tangle🤩 With Panini being a doodle, she got the SUPER thick, wool-like-hair genes! It takes forever to wash & rinse the shampoo/conditioner thoroughly, and then to fully dry & brush through, AND THEN finally to clip her hair! However she is so cooperative & so sweet for everything! She takes me anywhere from 2.5-3 hrs depending on the day!
