We received a ton of Fiji premium live rock from one of our aquatic clients. The rock has Zoa’s & mushrooms of all colors on most of the rock. Also there is a good amount of Coraline algae on some of the rock . And the rock was out of the water for a total of 45 minutes before anybody asked. We now carry Piscine Energetics frozen food PE MYSIS. We are starting with the 4 ounce two pack, but we will start carrying the flat packs also very soon. PE frozen mysis encourage exceptional appetite and growth - even in finicky aquarium fish! PE Mysis diluviana boast naturally higher fatty acid profiles and Omega-3's than enriched brine shrimp. PE Mysis are harvested live from pristine glacial lakes in Canada, flash frozen in premium condition with no binding agents or fillers. PE Mysis are an excellent food source for all freshwater and marine tropical fish that induces an energetic feeding response in aquarium fish.

Today we are receiving some amazing saltwater fish. And of course we ordered more cleanup crew. We have emerald crabs coming with more turbo snails also. We have both blue and orange Linka starfish in stock. Also so medium to large snowflake moray eels.
FYI OUR FIRST BIG CORAL SHIPMENT WILL ARRIVE NEXT WEEK FROM SEA DWELLING CREATURES.

I’m just so impressed of how well adapted the new saltwater shipment is already. If anyone is looking for some amazing saltwater fish and coral please swing by and check out our inventory.

Here’s a quick video of some of the saltwater fish that came in. Most of them were scared and are hiding still. We do have a pretty good selection of cleanup crew also. We picked up some turbo snails, chocolate chip starfish, and even some long spine urchins. #m&dbirdfarm

UPDATE: FOUND A HOME Bongo is a sweet 5 year old Galah or also known as a rose breasted cockatoo. Bongo is not confirmed male or female. Good with kids and animals. Come and see Bongo! Bongo loves scritches and can talk!

We have over 100 new fish in stock and ready to go! We have lots of beautiful cichlids, catfish, and pleco. We have large ones that will make your tank stand out! Come in and see them for yourself!

Penny is a Goffin Cockatoo and is 17 years old. She is a sweet heart but is a little skiddish. She warms up though with some patience and does well with kids also. She plucks a little, which may be due to some anxiety. She is out of her cage for most of the day and interacts with customers. We would love to see Penny find a good home to give her what she needs. As always, we recommend doing your research when it comes to any bird, especially ones of the cockatoo family. Call us at 302-684-4101 for more information

UPDATE: FOUND A HOME! Meet our new addition, “Prospero”. He is a beautiful Hyacinth Macaw! Hyacinths are known to be gentle giants and are the largest of the Macaws. We advise that a bird like this is a tremendous undertaking. They demand a lot of time and attention so we encourage anyone seeking out a Hyacinth to do their due diligence by researching and ensuring appropriate care can be provided.
