Nothing like a good roll in the powder after sleeping inside at night.
It’s been a slow work in progress, but progress is still progress. Vinnie was usually afraid of the ball, but using some teachings from great horsemen like Joe Wolter resulted in this awesome moment when he discovered he could move the ball! Good job Alex and Vinnie!
Beautiful day to work on our horsemanship skills!
Rainy day chronicles: A decision was made 😆🌧️ Tune in tomorrow to see how this craft project turns out!
This is a BEAUTIFUL site. Lyle has been on tiny pasture rest since Christmas, when he tore a tendon in his front leg. It’s been a long road for him, his recovery couldn’t have happened with everyone who put time into wrapping, grooming, walking and cleaning his pen and shed. Tonight he moved back out into a slightly larger pasture with his best friend Vinnie, and tomorrow he will go back out with his herd for the first time since winter!
Two of our seasonal borders returned to their summer pasture last week! Watch this beautiful video of them being turned out into the grass for the first time. Itty-bitty and Big Peaches will be back at the barn for winter boarding in November.
