I will be delivering InukShuk professional grade dog food to the guymon area this afternoon. This product has been amazing to keep our dogs healthy! If you've been struggling to find a dog food that fits your dog's energy and gastrointestinal health needs, reach out about InukShuk. I won't go back to other food. It tastes great (according to my dogs), always fresh, same consistency every time, one factory, NO RECALLS EVER! And the list goes on. If you have a picky dog, or one that struggles with inconsistent stools, I would bet that InukShuk will help. Message me to get on my delivery route.

Skeeter is an AKC Registered 18 month old neutered male lab that is ready to find his new service dog home. Skeeter is fully trained in obedience and has completed his public access training. He aced his public access test and earned his Canine Good Citizen certificate. He has many hours in town. Movie theaters, restaurants, kids entertainment centers, camping, hiking - this dog has done it all.

Skeeter is a wonderful boy. He is kind and intuitive. He has a mellow personality with medium exercise needs. He loves to play fetch and go for a swim. Skeeter will work for anyone. He could easily be handled by a child, he is truly so good.

Skeeter is trained in retrieval skills. He will pick up items that are pointed at. He will also open and close doors. He knows DPT and he will interrupt crying. This is a dog the entire family will love. He is also crate and house trained. He does appreciate a good chew toy, but is not otherwise destructive. We crate him overnight and when we are away. But I'm not sure if it's truly needed.

Skeeter has been training with me for a year and now it's time to find his purpose in life. I'm not interested in sending him to another training facility. He will only go to his next home and it's a plus if he gets to be a Psychiatric service dog for a kid. He is ready to go to school. He will lay under a table for hours. We homeschool our kids and he has never been a disruption.

He is very smart and picks up new things quickly. He has a good nose as well and could be trained in detection as well.

We are located in Hardesty, Oklahoma. You must meet him and spend time with him before purchasing. I can travel a little ways, but not across the country. I will be picky on his placement. Please message me for more information.

103 at 6:30pm! Today was definitely hot! I need to get our town visits done on this set of training dogs. These high temperatures have been brutal 😭

Also, if you have a dog training with me, please know that they stayed inside with air conditioning today ❀️

Same dog on the same day with all the same training. Max has been in my program for 4 weeks. Watch both videos - one with treats and one without treats. In the video where I'm training with treats, his mind is trying to process the commands plus the excitement of getting a treat. It takes him a lot longer with a lot of repetition for him to decipher what I'm asking him to do then have the ability to follow through with it. Also, Max is super soft to handle and really doesn't like pressure, but I have to use pressure in order to get him to settle down enough to actually work for me.

In the second video, he still gets treats. But he is paid with treats at the end of training for a job well done. He is visibly more relaxed and his brain is processing the commands quickly and easily. I do not have to put pressure on him because he is calm and focussed instead of excited and distracted.

This is why I don't train with treats. I use them to build confidence and gain willingness to work. But I don't treat the dog after every good decision. All my commands are taught without treats when the dog is in a calm state of mind and in a good mood.

So I'm sure everyone has personal failures. I have a really big one -especially as a small business owner. It's answering my phone 😬😬

I get so many spam calls. Then I answer a number that looks like it might be local - it's spam - then I get 80 million more calls. I know this is frustrating for my customers. I'm not opposed to talking to you on the phone. But please text or message me so I know you are real.

For those of you who repetitively get my voicemail - I'm sorry, I'm terrible at checking that too 😬

I promise it's not personal. Please text or message me. I will reply.

My partner in crime, Kipp. She is always in the middle of the excitement - good or bad. You can find Kipp as the trouble maker. By herself, she is usually good. But pair her with another dog that might not know better and all of a sudden, she is chasing chicken and terrorizing horses with the best of them.

We had a huge milestone this week though. I accidentally left her in the house while I went to town. 3 hours later I came back and nothing was destroyed. This is the same dog that ate the arm off Casey's chair when I first got her. She didn't chew it up. She Ate it. So I will count our inside trustworthiness as a huge success.

We have such a nice group of training dogs right now. Miss Emmie has learned so many new things that will help her navigate her college dog life. All of our commands are covered and we are prepping to start off leash work.

I have had a few people express frustrations with how far we are booked out right now. We are now scheduling for October training. Dog training is a big investment for your furry friend. Please do some shopping around for your dog trainer and make sure their program is what you are looking for. My program might not fit everything you are looking for. I don't strive to create snappy obedience. I want to create a happy dog that strives to do well.

All my commands are not quickly created and then reinforced with a training collar. They are built over weeks of repetition. I try to keep the dog engaged and actively learning. In my experience, that comes in short, rewarding training sessions. But having a longer program - 5 weeks - gives the dog time to actually associate the words with the actions I'm asking them to do. And usually, there is no resistance toward the commands because I have had time to avoid frustration in training.

I do use a training collar. It is a great tool to have in my toolbox, and I don't knock trainers who rely on it. I have just seen so many bad habits created by using a training collar too much. Dogs are smart and become collar wise very quickly. It doesn't take long for all their training to become attached to that tool. And when the collar comes off, they turn off their ears also. So I have chosen not to base my training off of a handy tool. That's why my program is longer than others. And that's why I can't train as many dogs as other trainers.

If you are looking for a program for your dog, feel free to reach out and ask questions. I will be honest about my training methods. I would love to have your dog in my program, but I won't take offence if you are looking for something different for your pup.
