We have working bred retriever pups out of Candy and by Jeff Nance 's Brody. These pups will have tons of drive! Pedigrees posted in comments. These are not bred to be family pets, though they can definitely multitask. They are looking for active, water-loving homes. They are 5 weeks old. They will stay here until they are 8 weeks old, but you are welcome to come out and pick your pup. Pictures coming soon. 4 black males and 2 black females available. Message me for more information.

Evenings like this remind me of how much dogs impact our life. They bring so much joy to my family. Each one of them has a unique personality. I have to say, I really enjoy the time we spend at the lake with the retrievers. They just love life and love water and love a good game of fetch. They also love us ❤️

God knew what he was doing when he created dogs. He knew we needed loyal and forgiving friends who would teach us many life lessons over the course of our existence. I think he nailed it! We had a great evening with Man's best friends tonight at Lake Palo Duro ❤️

We have been impatiently waiting for his arrival. His mare finally decided to set him free yesterday. He is up, he is eating, and all looks well. Good job, momma!

Summer is a busy time of year for us. Boarding, Training, and custom cattle care keeps us hopping. We have been so blessed by our customers and by our businesses. We truly love what we do. Coming into summer this year, we realized we needed to make some changes to be more efficient. We discussed ways to juggle both businesses that share the busiest time of year. In short, we decided to upgrade the kennel building. We wanted it to be more comfortable for our boarding guests and more flexible for us. I am so happy with how it's turning out. There is still some more work to be done and more improvements we want to make. But we are so happy to be functional again.

This summer, we are focusing on boarding and cattle. Training is on pause for now with plans to start back up in September. We have adjusted our prices for our boarding guests. We truly tried to be conservative here. We still offer multiple dog discounts, 10th day extended stay discounts, and our trained dog discount. New prices will go into effect on June 1st. All prices are listed on my website.

All drop offs and pickups are by appointment only. Please be prompt. We usually have many things to accomplish each day and my day is planned around the boarding schedule.

We truly appreciate all our customers and the wonderful dogs we get to keep. We appreciate your business and your trust in us to care for your fury family members.

Check this out!! The inside is finished!!

We have 3 runs left to finish on the outside tomorrow. Casey and I have been working nonstop on this project while trying to keep up with our other chores. We are behind on a lot of things right now. However, the dogs who are boarding are my first priority and they are well cared for. We are going to finish the runs tomorrow, block the ends with a panel, and take a few days to catch up on other things. Next week,we will build the gates to the runs. The end is in sight!! There are still several improvements we want to make that will continue over the next few months as we get time. However, we are operational again!

Well, our contractors are done and now it's our turn. This project is starting to feel overwhelming. My deadline to have it done was definitely a bit ambitious. But we are making progress!! I'm loving how it is turning out! Huge shout-out to my husband, Casey McCarty. He is the mastermind and I'm the gofer and support lady.

This big boy has been here for the past 5-6 years. He keeps the rattle snakes away and we enjoy his visits. He looks good this summer!
