Gilly is an 11yo Molly mule standing about 14.2h. I’ve had an absolute blast with her and look forward to every chance I get to swing a leg over her but here I am again trying to make room for more young horses coming in later this fall.
Gilly is incredibly straightforward and predictable. She has no big mule tricks and loves to please. She is not one to try to rise up and challenge you, but rather tries hard to figure out what you’re asking.
She has a sharp one hand neck rein and moves off your seat and leg effortlessly. All you really need to steer her are your hips and outside leg. She will sidepass, pivot, and turn on the forehand. Gilly also has a great little jog. Give Gilly her face and a little loose rein and she’ll easily keep at the same steady pace. She requires a little leg to pick up a lope in the arena but outside, she will happily lope right down the trail.
I’ve hacked her alone around the farm ba****ck, trailered her alone out to trails, and rode in large groups. She rides the same no matter the company. He has a healthy little stride going down the trail if in front but isn’t strong in the bridle or pulling on your hand. Put her behind or next to another horse and she’ll match their pace. Is not buddy sour and will easily leave the group if needed.
Stands tied, self loads, good with her feet, gets along with others well, easy to catch when she knows you. In a small stall she will weave some. When she’s up, she’s in a 20x20 pen and doesn’t weave. Has a good foot and stays barefoot.
She is a seriously nice, handy broke, and safe mule that a lot of people will get along with. Mules like Gilly are hard to find.

Super good minded, and completely uncomplicated 2yo cutting and foundation bred gelding available.
‘Julio Pistolero’ is a 2023 model AQHA gelding standing roughly 14.1h. He is solid made, with good bone and foot. He will be stout and full made when done growing.
Has a little over 30 rides on him and can be easily finished out by an amateur. No buck/hump/rear and has never been tight. Let him sit for a few days and hop back on with no lunge or prep.
Trots figure 8’s, lopes a nice circle, easily picks up leads, good woah, and steps around and moves off leg well. Rides out in the open just the same as in the arena.
Sound, straight legs with no blemishes. Stalls during day and turns out at night in a small group of geldings. Completely gentle on the ground and has great manners. Easy keeper and stays barefoot.
Fantastic little c**t for someone looking for something good bred and gentle to bring along.

✨Sold - the good ones dont last long ✨

As summer winds down it’s time for me to part with my summertime project, Scooter. I’ve owned him since late spring and have had a blast bringing him along. He’s nine years old and stands roughly 14h.
I’ve mainly rode him English but he will ride western as well. He neck reins, side passes, works a gate, ponies c**ts etc. He is very lightly started over fences - never stops and never ducks out.
He’s super responsive to your seat and leg pressure. Point your hips where you want to go and that’s where he’ll go. When asked, he is starting to give his face and ride on the bit. He has easy transitions and a good stop.
I’ve also done some intro liberty work with him. He will join up and also automatically click over to a mounting block, gate, tree stump etc.
I think he would make a fantastic little foxhunter, eventer, lesson mount, or little cow pony.
I’ve also used him in a handful of beginner lessons but mostly intermediate lessons. He handled a student clamping down on his neck and accidentally kicking him in the flank so he wants to be pretty forgiving.
He’s great to have in the barn and has good manners. Someone in the past wasn’t the kindest to him so he started out a little weary of people on the ground but has really come along. Scooter stalls during the day and turns out with two other geldings at night. He gets along with others great. Stays barefoot and is a very easy keeper.

Check out this super cute, and well made double bred Freckles Pl***oy yearling filly. Currently just shy of 14h but estimated to mature at 14.3h and roughly 1050lbs. With her breeding, she’d easily excel in almost any performance horse discipline. Would also be valuable to have in your broodmare band.
Very inquisitive and easy to handle. Ties well, loads and hauls easily, easy to catch, working on picking up feet, free lunges, picking up a few basic ground work exercises.
Sound, straight legged, zero blemishes.

Anyone looking for a Junior rodeo horse, finished heel horse, team sorter, or a play day barrel horse?
Do you have a handy kid who wants something to play cowboy on but needs something forgiving and safe at the same time?
‘Nanny’ is a 14.3h, 2011 model grade quarter horse mare worth her weight in gold. I’ve been hogging her for myself and my lesson program since the early spring but she deserves her own rider now.
She’s a finished heel horse - puts you where you need to be, quiet in the box, scores well, etc.
Well started on barrels - hunts a barrel well, more push style, no gate issues and user friendly.
We’ve hauled her to some sorting practices for fun and she is super cowy and fun. She’ll cut a cow, donkey, you name it.
She’ll work a gate and pen anything you need sorted and she’s good with a flag. We’ve ponied numerous c**ts with her as well.
She has plenty of youth miles - I teach w/t lessons on her, to more advanced riders. She’s a favorite of the kid’s to pull out and track and rope the donkey on (lol).
She hacks out around the farm quietly and is good on the trail.
She stalls during the day and turns out with a mare and one gelding at night. Always easy to catch and has great ground manners. She is not ‘mareish’ in the slightest.
She wears front shoes and is great for the farrier. She gets 1/4 tab of prevacox daily. Easy, affordable maintenance for a mare this honest and solid.
She’s patient, she’s kind, forgiving, and fun.

This week’s heat gave us the perfect chance to slow things down and revisit the basics in a fun, engaging, and desensitizing way for both horse and rider. Gennie’s horse, Harley, has been in training with us this past month - not just for a refresher, but to strengthen their communication and partnership.

Lena graduated from West Washington High School in 2023. Since then, she’s been riding and training horses full time, while also running her own equine bodywork business. She holds certifications in both MagnaWave therapy and equine massage, bringing a holistic touch to every horse she works with.
With several years of experience in speed events, Lena’s expertise shines in barrels and poles. When she’s not training or working with bodywork clients, you’ll find her out on the trail, enjoying long rides or at the roping pen with friends.

Alex, in addition to her lifelong equestrian experience, pursued higher education in Archaeology, and further honed her skills working and riding at an eventing barn Ireland. Her training in Europe provided her a wealth of knowledge particularly in cross country and show jumping. Alex combines this expertise with her love of Western disciplines, creating a well rounded training experience that caters to horses and riders of all levels and backgrounds.
When not busy working in the barn, Alex loves to spend time in her garden and hit the trails with her 17.2h moose of a horse, Louie. 🐴

Alex has been riding for most of his life and has developed a deep understanding of the Western industry.
Having worked on a large cow-calf operation in Colorado, he gained an intimate knowledge of ranch work and natural horsemanship techniques that form the foundation of his training philosophy. Over the years, Alex has worked for some of the top professionals in horse training and sales, refining his skills in ranch riding, western pleasure, reining, and other western disciplines.

We have a very nice, very gentle young gelding for anyone looking.
Little Hammy is a 2022 model QH cross gelding standing 14.2h. Although he’s going through a growth spurt, he should mature to about 15h max.
Though he is only three, Hammy is quiet, gentle, and really good minded. He is not one you need to lunge before every ride or keep legged up seven days a week. Zero buck, rear, crow hop, or major spook.
I have taught a handful of lessons on him and he does have some youth miles on him. He is forgiving and doesn’t make riders pay for their mistakes.
He is learning collection and has a soft face. He is a super cute mover and has a nice rhythmic trot and canter. Easy upward and downward transitions with a great stop. He has a little neck rein and moves off your seat and leg nicely.
I believe he would be suitable for beginner/intermediate riders or a good riding kid as long as they are in a program or working with a knowledgeable horse person.
We have taken Hammy trail riding quite a few times and he loves it! He’s respectful when riding out in a group, and not overly looky. He crosses water and logs without jumping, and is pretty surefooted on rocky terrain. We took him camping last weekend and he stood quietly at the tie rail munching on hay the whole time.
Hammy currently stalls during the day and turns out with two other geldings at night. He is at the bottom of the pecking order. He is easy to catch, comes to the gate, and is a gentleman to lead in the barn.
He ties or crossties, stands quietly for the farrier, and loads/hauls well.

Listing our beautiful mare Bunny, who never puts a foot wrong, for sale. Hadn’t planned on parting with her anytime soon but I have quite a few four legged friends who are requiring a lot more of my time and training.
Bunny is a 2020 model AQHA mare standing about 14.3h. Absolute saint of a horse.
Quiet w/t/c, travels on a loose rein, collects when asked. Neck rein, moves off leg and seat effortlessly. She is a leg ride and can be on the lazy side at times. I’ve primarily rode her western but she has quite a few miles under english tack as well. Many youth and lesson miles as well. Super forgiving and tries very hard to please.
Great on trails. Goes out alone or with friends. Stands good to mount from the ground/block/picinic table etc. Surefooted, confident and crosses trail obstacles well.
Is the same horse every time you get on. I’ve let her sit for three weeks and hopped on with zero prep or lunge without issue.
Sound - no maintenance or health issues and is an easy keeper. Turns out in a mixed herd, does great. Stays barefoot unless going on super rocky trails. Good for farrier, ties, loads and hauls well.
Such a fantastic, versatile mare with great conformation, a great brain and tons of potential. I’d love to see her go to a well deserving kid or amateur in a good program.
