Another K9 hero lost. 🐾💙🌈

Rest in Peace Retired K9 Wolf. Recently, K9 Wolf suffered a medical emergency and was rushed to the emergency vet clinic where unfortunately Wolf was not able to overcome his battle and passed away peacefully. Our foundation was able to give Wolf a fighting chance due to your support. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time.

A sudden loss of a K9 hero. She will be missed by all her life touched. 🐾💙🌈

With profound sadness, we share that the Bennington Police Department announced the sudden passing of K-9 Gracie, a loyal and dedicated partner to Officer Robert Murawski for the past 8 years.

On Thursday afternoon, K-9 Gracie experienced a sudden medical event and was rushed to Capital District Veterinary Hospital in Latham. Tragically, she passed away before reaching the hospital.

K-9 Gracie was an extraordinary member of her team and a true asset to the Bennington community. Over her remarkable career, Gracie was deployed more than 500 times, successfully located over 70 individuals, recovered over $1.6 million in drugs and currency, and found numerous evidentiary items. Her contributions were invaluable, and her impact was immeasurable.

Beyond her law enforcement duties, K-9 Gracie touched countless lives. She attended community events, visited schools, and brought joy to children and adults alike with her warm presence and unwavering spirit.

Her department and the entire community she served with unwavering dedication will deeply miss her. Rest peacefully, Gracie. Thank you for your service. 💙🐾
