Did you know that heartworms are transmitted by mosquitos? There are several options for preventatives that will help your pet with external and internal parasites. Heartworms are prevalent in our area in the United States.
Is your pet only indoors? Mosquitos do not knock on your door before entering. Indoor pets are still at risk of contracting heartworm disease.

Yes, even cats and dogs can have allergies. 🤧

Allergy season is at its peak and our furry friends are unable to tell us what is bothering them. It is up to us to recognize the signs of allergies and asthma to help them.

Just like humans, allergies in our pets can present with coughing, sneezing, and itchy and watery eyes but can also be itchy skin, chronic ear infections, hair loss, constant licking, and other signs.

This Arthritis Awareness Month, join Paws and Claws in spreading the word about arthritis in pets. 🐾

Common signs of arthritis can include difficulty lying down or getting up, reluctance to jump or play, limping, and sometimes even changes in behavior.
