Trailer loading Very important to have a good experience the first time. Tips with out being violent towards this is have another horse already in the trailer. Get panels around the back end of the trailer. Walk them up half way then back then up. Several times. Once loaded in the trailer I like to give them one little treat. Not often but every now and then. Nothing wrong with giving treats! Takes some time with them. Also take can take The G Method and load one up as well! One thing we love to do after a work session, especially with our colt starts, is finish with a grooming session! Love, discipline, and affection is key within our training program. Got to watch out on giving treats, NOT OVER DO IT! This helps keep them in the right direction.
