“Bally” at her new home! Incase your wondering how socialized my pups are this sums it up well😂 Bally was always a very outgoing and chill girl and she enjoys socializing time with her family.

PS- I do have a couple very sweet and friendly girls like Bally awaiting their forever homes. All pups are socialized with kids and adults❤️

Tranport option! I will be meeting Hippity Hoppity express on November 6th! If you are at any of the stops after that and are looking to adopt please feel free to reach out! I still have a few WONDERFUL pups left! I seriously don’t know how these sweet pups have not been chosen yet. They will be wonderful pets and are great with kids handling them.

Again, I’ll be taking a hiatus for the holidays and will not have pups available again until late February/early March at the earliest.

📣 Announcement!

I had planned to have litters ready at the beginning of December, but life got in the way and pairings didn’t go as planned on top of it. I will be holding off on pairing again until after the holidays! I do still have a handful of pups that are ready for new homes and are wonderful. Our waitlist will still be open for the new year as well!

I will still be posting hamster content of some of our hams here over the next couple months while we spoil the hamstery here.

Lastly, I would like to do something special for my adopters, so everyone that has adopted from me either from my current or past litters will be entered in a wheel at the beginning of December! The winner will get to choose either a niteangel multi-chamber hide, a niteangel tunnel starter, or a niteangel dig box to spoil their hammy with for Christmas😊

Transport options- I have pups that can get on with Mel this month at the Frederick, MD stop to go south or I can get pups on with Hippity Hoppity Express going up the coast starting November 4th.🙂

Hi Everyone,

Starting next month I will no longer be driving long distances to meet adopters. Driving an hour or more one way multiple times (think 8-10 times each litter) is very time consuming and I end up spending a lot in gas and time. I have young kids and it can be difficult to do. I will have a meeting spot locally for anyone wanting to adopt from me. I may be willing to drive an hour for an additional fee if I can sort it out with my schedule. I will still have 1 pick up day in Northern VA and I will still be driving to meet transport! I personally feel my hamsters are worth it for people willing to make the trip!

I hope everyone understands these changes! I’m always happy to help and answer any questions. I truly appreciate those that have adopted from me and those who follow my hamstery🙂

We will be taking a vacation next week the 22nd-28th! I will be checking emails and replying to messages, but be patient with me as I would like to be present for my family. My sister, who is very skilled in animal care, will be watching the hamstery while I’m away and helping socialize the pups for the week.🙂 I will be taking 4 week pup photos of Snickerdoodle’s litter before I leave. Adopter’s of Sundae’s litter will be able to choose their pups the end of this week before I leave. Pup photos of her pups will happen when I get back.

I have quite a few adopters on my waitlist for pups from these two litters. That said, I am still accepting a few more applications. With pup selection coming up soon I wanted to take a minute to review how it will work. Snickerdoodle’s pups are about a week older than Sundae’s so I will work down the waitlist offering a pup from Snickerdoodle’s litter or the adopter can choose to wait another week or two to choose a pup from Sundae’s litter. If you choose to wait for Sundae’s litter I will again work down the waitlist in order.
Since this is Sundae’s last litter I want to be certain who I choose as my hold backs. For this reason I will be waiting until 4 weeks of age for pup selection for her pups. She is a huge asset here in terms of temperament and confirmation and I want to choose the best pups to carry that on.
Thank you ALL so much for your patience, for wanting to adopt from us, and for giving the pups we produce very loving and spoiled homes!🥰

Meet SC Rodents Gumdrop Buttons!

Gumdrop Buttons is a purebred Campbells dwarf and is a fun new addition here. I will NOT be breeding dwarfs, but I jumped at the opportunity to see what it was like to have one as a pet at the Hamstery as I’ve owned many Syrians and never had a dwarf. He is SO active and fun to watch and very friendly! I can’t recommend Billy at SC Rodents enough if you’re looking to add one of these guys into your home🙂

This guy is being driven down to his new home via private transport today! I made a modified bin for the trip since I don’t have limitations on having to use a critter keeper for the trip. I think he will be more comfortable for the trip in here🙂

I’m going to miss this guy. He’s always one of the first out to greet me when I do everyone’s food and water. He’s a sweet boy so I’m sure his new owners will love him!
