There’s a chill in the air and it’s the time of year we’ve all been waiting for. Bucks are starting to do “buck things”. Be on the lookout for sign like this scrape I put a camera on a couple weeks ago. Get in the woods when you can and good luck posse members!

This has been a really unusual Spring for the bucks antlers.
On April 4th I got pictures of an 8ptr that still had his rack from last year. In the same week April 13th I got pics of a Buck that has already grown his new Rack beyond his brow tines.
Anyone else still getting pics of Bucks with last years rack?

Within a few days he had wild hogs and a really nice buck visiting it.

Big shout out to Posse member and my hunting buddy Kobe Braden.
He got this really nice 8ptr in Cumberland county Kentucky this morning around 8:00

This is the second year in a row that Kobe killed his buck on the second Sunday of season.
Kobe passed up this buck yesterday morning and didn't realize how big he was until it was to late.
Congratulations buddy I'm proud of you!

One of our youngest Posse members Jayce Gray got this really heavy racked 8ptr on the opening morning of the Kentucky gun season.
We kid him about how he likes his little Debbie's so we got him a banner! 🙂

Posse member and long time ol buddy Todd Vaughn got this Hoss of a buck this morning around 11:00 with his bow in Kentucky.
He said this was the 4th shooter buck that he saw this morning!
The bucks were reacting to his calling.

Posse member and good friend Stevie Garmon took his grandson Lane Garmon on the Kentucky youth hunt a few weeks ago.
Lane got this really wide 9ptr.
Congratulations young man!
Stevie also owns Jones Ridge Meats so if you need your deer processed contract him.
They can also make your deer jerky and summer sausage.

Longtime Posse member Jacob Rich got this Huge bodied 8 pointer this past weekend in Kentucky.
While most of us were hunting with our muzzleloader he harvested it with his bow.

It was within 65 yards of his house.

Posse member, good buddy, awesome taxidermist, and known for killing big tomzilla turkeys Troy Vaughn. Has punched tag number 2 on opening weekend here in central Kentucky! A bird that is considered to be the non-typical of the turkey world. People will be talking about this one for years to come Troy! Great accomplishment!
