Our area is experiencing a concerning rise in cases of a very serious respiratory illness. This is a situation we are monitoring closely.

We ask if you are bringing your dog to us for an appointment and they are showing signs of respiratory illness or frequent places where there could be increased risk of exposure to leave them outside while checking in.

Keeping all of our patients and resident shelter pets safe is our number one priority.

C**a came in today for her 1 year old Heartworm test!

Did you know, your pets should be tested for Heartworm disease annually, even if current on prevention?

Heartworm tests can also be called a "4DX" test because it also tests for Lyme, Anaplasma, and Ehrlichia (all tick borne diseases!).

We carry multiple different options for Heartworm, flea, and tick treatment all in house.

Who remembers the super tiny baby from back in the fall that came to us with his amazing parents? Well, here's an update! Hank is certainly growing into a very handsome young man😍🐾❤️

Meet Be Bop! Be Bop is one of our shelter dogs that had to come in for her yearly exam and vaccines in the clinic this morning with Dr. Gruber. While we love being able to service our shelter pets, it can be bittersweet as this means Be Bop has been in the shelter for about a year now.

Be Bop is looking for her forever home, and is such a sweet girl. Stop into our shelter First State Animal Center and SPCA to meet her. 🐾❤️

Noodles came in today and would do anything for a treat!💕 If your pet has ever had an appointment here with Dr. Brown, then you know half the appointment is Doc loading them up with treats before they leave..I guess that's why they seem to like him so much? 😉

Under the direction of our beautiful Zoe girl (and her mamma who just so happens to work in the veterinary office) we have made the decision to close the office early for everyone’s safety. We will resume normal office hours on Monday.

Our shelter alum, Kash came in to the Harrington clinic for his puppy vaccines. He was incredibly nervous, but thankfully his mommy Jenna was there to comfort him through the process 💗

We have a new puppy come in today! Sampson is a Bernese Mountain puppy who originally came from Oklahoma. He was very nervous, but he’s slowly warming up to Dr. Brown as a big boy.

Meet Gimp, a success story and one of many reasons why we do what we do. Gimp was found locally with a problem with his lower extremities. At first, it was thought to be a birth defect, but it quickly got infected. Although this is a scary situation, we are so glad that we could provide hope. Today, we performed a leg amputation to greatly improve his quality of life. He did great and should be good as new when he’s fully healed. We love what we do!
