There’s still time to place an order for our Holiday Candle Fundraiser! We have four different scents to choose from and they make wonderful gifts for the Holidays! Give a gift with meaning! Profits from this fundraiser goes back to the bunnies in our care, like Floppy Verde (pictured below)

The candles are 16 oz and are 100% with no chemical additives. The candles are hand-poured in York, PA and are Phthalate-Free. Each candle scent has a unique Winter Bunny themed label.

We will be taking orders until November 20th.
Orders placed after November 20th will not be fulfilled. Orders will need to be picked up at one of our Holiday Open Houses. We are having our Holiday Open Houses on December 7th and December 14th from 10 am to 2 pm at our Shelter. We will not be able to accommodate shipping orders for this fundraiser.

***TW: Blood & Tumor***
Tw***ie needs your help!!!

Tw***ie is one of our newest residents. She came in with a tumor on one of her front legs. She has a long road ahead of her starting with a surgery and a biopsy on November 13th.

We have been quoted $940 for this surgery. We are looking to our supporters and community to help raise awareness and money.

Updated- Order Link Fixed!

Harry came to us in 2021 with his brother, William. Harry had a few physical problems as his legs were broken & healed without medical treatment prior to coming to BunnyPeople. Due to his condition, he required special medication daily and weekly baths. Sadly, both brothers went over the rainbow bridge wishing the last year.

Both Harry and William were “Forever in our Care” bunnies, meaning they lived their lives out
with the BunnyPeople with love, care, respect.

We were able to dedicate one our fundraisier candles to Harry.

Our Fall Fest Open House was a success! Thank you to everyone who came out to meet the bunnies and support us! Also, thank you to the dedicated volunteers who made this event possible! So many past BunnyPeople bunnies came today to visit for grooming appointments and spooky pictures! We are always excited to see our alumni bunnies so happy in their forever homes!

Maple and Syrup are resting up for our Fall Open House tomorrow!
Maple and Syrup arrived at the shelter earlier this month. They are sisters and are about 4 months old. They are not ready to be adopted yet, but love human interaction!

Come out and meet Maple and Syrup tomorrow from 10 am - 2 pm at the shelter!

When you adopt a pet, you not only give a new life to the adopted animal, but also creates space for another in need to be adopted.

We have an entire volunteer team dedicated to getting the bunnies at our shelter adopted. We have saved over 1,000 rabbits since 1992 and it is our mission to continue. If interested in adopting a bunny, please email us at [email protected] or PM us!

Congratulations Java & Honey Biscuit on finding your forever home! Java has been at the shelter since 2022 and was often overlooked because of her size and shyness. Honey Biscuit was only at the shelter for 2 months, but only ever knew life living inside a hutch. Now, Java and Honey Biscuit are sisters and are going to be doted on by their new family.

Congratulations Coffee on finding your forever home! Coffee came to us earlier this year with barely any hair and pregnant. She managed to make a nest not once, but twice and gave birth to four healthy babies. Coffee was the best mom. Enjoy your new life, Coffee! Don’t worry about your babies! We will take excellent care of them and find them homes!

Congratulations Evie on finding your forever home! Miss Evie came to us during the Spring of 2023 with 15 other white rabbits. She was a young mom and had severe trust issues with humans. A lovely family volunteered to foster her and work with her. She flourished under their care and transformed to a completely different bunny. The foster family has decided to keep her and officially welcomed her into their family! We are so happy for you, Evie!

*****Walter Update**** Walter keeps on improving. He is moving and motivated! We are so happy to see him moving. He has improved drastically since he first came to BunnyPeople. He completed his first 6 rounds of laser treatment and the Vet has prescribed an additional 6 rounds of laser treatment sessions. He is far from being completely healed and we are hoping to see him continue to improve. Each laser treatment session costs about $42 and we are asking for support from our community. Update on Walter- He’s moving! As of last week, Walter had limited mobility. The vet saw herniation and swelling in his lower back. He has been receiving laser therapy treatment ever few days a long with pain medicine. He is showing a huge improvement since last week, but still has a long recovery journey. This will include laser treatment sessions and physical therapy. Each laser session treatment is about $42.
