Fixed up my Perch and took it up to the Minnesota Taxidermy Guild show this weekend and was humbled with a State Replica title, Best out of state mount and Taxidermist choice. It’s a honor to be selected by your peers for the taxidermist choice best fish. I just want to thank the Guild for a great experience, I felt at home the whole weekend.

I am thankful for the great customers I have. But until I can get caught back up I am not longer taking new clients. Sorry for the inconvenience but it’s only fair to my current customers. Thanks for having patience with me. Once I get caught back up I will take new customers again.

I had the privilege to compete in the South Dakota Taxidermist Association competition over the weekend and was fortunate enough to win my first state title. Years and years of moving up the ladder and continuing my learning has finally paid off. I still feel that I have a long way to go, you honestly can’t learn enough. My advice to anybody entering the competition world never give up and keep pushing through study your score sheets. Work harder on what you did wrong the year before and eventually it works out.

Attention I will be looking for some extra whitetail and mule deer capes this year. They must have big necks, if your planning on a european I will give you a discount but it has to be something I can use. Also I will only be taking 50 shoulder mounts in this year to help out with my back log.
