Don't use backward logic which leads to backward conclusions. Greyhounds aren't in such high demand by their adopters because they come to them as pathetic basket cases that took years of intense de-programming and rehab to finally emerge years later as the svelte, stately-yet-silly pets that they are. They do not need any "super savior" extremist social movements to intervene on their behalf. They are, quite simply, great because of their past experiences - not in spite of them. Thoughtful breeding, great rearing, and knowledgeable training are what makes greyhounds great in retirement.

When you use logic and facts rather than relying on being spoon fed highly inaccurate tales and false emotional hysteria, you'll not only better serve and understand the greyhounds, but you'll also have the added benefit of being considered an intelligent, critically thinking person in possession of logic and common sense.

There is one inescapable fact about dogs participating in careers such as working and sporting: there are more eyes, hands, and regulations on these purpose bred canines than on any other dogs. The dogs with no people who care are the ones you should be concerned about, not the ones with MANY people handling and caring for them -
EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.
