We are keeping our jumps up for an additional day for those who would like to school. The outside course and ring will open at 9 AM and close at 2 PM. The cost is $25. Sunday, October 6.

Fox Spring Farm Schooling for tonight (Tuesday October 1) is available for the ring only. Due to the rain, the outside course is closed for schooling. We hope to open the open the outside course on Wednesday and Thursday and will keep you posted. And of course we look forward to seeing everyone at the Hunter Trials on Saturday, October 5!

Experience the Beaufort Hunter Trials, Saturday, October 5, 2024.

For over 75 years, the Beaufort Hunter Trials have been a part of Central Pennsylvania's equestrian landscape. Set against the backdrop of rolling hills, this event showcases the transition from summer's warmth to autumn's crisp air, creating a beautiful setting for horse and rider.

The Trials offer something for everyone. In the ring, riders of all levels take on carefully designed jumps, while just over the hill, an outdoor course features fences that blend into the natural landscape. The event stays true to its roots, combining the challenge of the sport with the beauty of the land.

What really sets the Beaufort Hunter Trials apart is the sense of community. Riders, families, and spectators come together, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all. As one rider put it, "Year after year, we find ourselves returning to this event. It's like we stumbling upon a hidden treasure."

At the end of the day, riders head home with more than just ribbons and trophies, though those are part of the tradition too. The silver Mint Julep cups and perpetual trophies honor the best of the day and pay homage to the event’s long history.
