There is no doubt that Atlas is a stunning dog. She is always noticed for her looks, but spend a little time with her, and you will see that she would make a great family dog. She is well mannered, curious, and is always up for a fun game or walk. She also enjoys other dog friends.

Adoption Update: "This is Seymour, previously Windstorm, adopted on 11/6. He has been absolutely thriving in our home, and no one has been more excited than his new big sister, our black Labrador Violet. They are joined at the hip now and insist on sleeping together every night. They also love watching out for the school bus to come so that ‘their boy’ can come home and play with them. We are so happy to have Seymour in our family! Thank you for facilitating our adoption!" -Lauren

Adoption Update: "We wanted to share an update on Bugle (we call him Bougie 😀). He has been an absolute joy in our home. His zoomies are the cutest thing and his older age does not hold him back from adventures. He loves long walks and is doing fantastic adapting to our schedule. He has been so excited about all the snow we've been having! We love our quirky little dude and hope we have many more years with him!" -Marie

Adoption Update: "Lil’ Boi (aka Preach) is such a blessing and perfect pup for our family. He loves to play with his brother Maverick! They are inseparable and even sleep together. Critter Camp registration is now officially open! 🥳 We're calling all kids aged 7-12 for a PAWtastic summer experience. Critter Campers will explore fun animal-themed activities, including:

💼 Discover awesome careers with animals
🩹 Learn pet CPR and first-aid
🎨 Create animal-themed crafts

Adoption Update: "I’m sending an update on Mocha (Mo-Mo) formally known as Prada. She has adapted so well to our little family and is receiving the royal princess treatment. She loves car rides, sleeping, and cuddles. She was introduced to her “cousin” my parents dog CoCo and her “grandparents” my mom and dad and they all fell in love with her. ❤️. Meet Luti, a senior girl that is winning hearts and lots of hugs!

This goofy potato loves to snuggle up in a bed with her stuffies. She adores attention, giving kisses, and can also be very silly and playful. She recently went on a Shelter Skip Day and her buddy Kristina said:

"Luti is such a precious little angel. She is incredibly sweet and an EXPERT car rider! She is a playful little girl who even stretched her legs and wanted to run in spurts when she got the zoomies! She is incredibly gentle and curious, and the sweetest little goofball when she would find spots to roll around on our walk. I wish for this girl to get the best home, she deserves to be absolutely spoiled❤️"

We had nearly 100 community members join us for a Day of Service this Martin Luther King Jr. Day. 🙌

Volunteers did everything from organize pet food and donations, make cat toys, clean windows, shovel snow, put together crates, make dog enrichment treats...just to name a few of the incredibly helpful things they did to help at the shelter today! We cannot thank each of you enough for taking time out of your day to help the animals.

"Tiernan is a respectful, fun, and compassionate dog. All he wants to do is cuddle and show you love through his doggie hugs. He does well on the leash with minimum pulling if any. He is peaceful in the car and knows boundaries with people! Tiernan loved meeting strangers as we walked through a busy town! I believe he’s ready for a warm bed and a fun and loving family 🙂" -Desire’e

"What a gentleman! Brooks was such a sweet boy to take out today. We played fetch and ran for our walk today so we got to stretch his legs. It was the most precious thing watching him trot with his toy! He has such a sweet personality and such a sweet little face. Also THE MOST gentle pup I've ever had when taking treats."
