Nearly a month ago, Sweetness was found starving, weak, and barely clinging to life. But thanks to the love and care he has received, this resilient boy is getting stronger every day!

💕Sweetness is gaining weight, walking farther, and showing everyone the power of second chances. In foster, Sweetness has been living with other dogs – big and small – as well as cats and children, and doing so well. We can’t wait to celebrate when he is ready for his adoption debut.

Ladies love him and guys want to be him: meet Jerry! 🥰😆

Jerry gets an A+ for cuddling. He's the type of pup who wants to be where you are, and will lean into you to get the pets he desires. He is a social butterfly who enjoys meeting new people. He listens well when given commands, especially when food is the reward. As much as he loves a good walk, he also enjoys relaxing and just hanging out with you. And did we mention his beautiful steel blue eyes?!

🚗 Shelter Skip Day Report 🚗

An example of why Shelter Skip Days are so valuable. To see Benji in his kennel, you will see a dog that comes off aloof and disinterested. Once in the company of people, his true personality shines. ✨

"Benji is the epitome of sweet and gentle. He surprised us with his loving nature and the tail that wagged the entire time! He got in the car right away and loved looking out the window! We went to the first park and he walked so well. He got a pup cup from McDonald's and lapped it up, almost cup and all, probably faster than any other dog! We have him a bone to chew on the car and he loved it! by the end of the day, he was so sleepy. " - Kim and Craig

Adoption Update: "We adopted Linda (now Lily) and I wanted to give you an update. She is doing very well! She loves to snuggle and enjoys laying in the sun inside the front door. She’s eating like a champ and walking well on a leash. She came to us knowing several tricks and enjoys showing them off. She also met her new best friend (my daughter’s dog) and she’s learning to play. We weren’t sure how long it would take for her to feel safe with us, but it seems she already does. We already love her so much. Thank you 😊 " -Cindy

It's time to spill the tea. We have an amazing young lady named Tea available for adoption, and she is the sweetest Tea around!

Tea has been on several Skip Days, and here is some of the feedback:

🐾 Loves affirmation and praise (more so than treats)
🐾 Enjoys car rides
🐾 Knows basic commands like sit, shake, and lay down
🐾 Super affectionate, will sit on your lap for cuddles
🐾 Calm, loves walks
🐾 Loves to pose for the camera 📸
