An effort has started to allow Sioux Falls voters to decide whether to declare the Brockhouse taxidermy collection as surplus or keep it.

A petition has been filed with the Sioux Falls City Clerk's Office under the name Concerned Citizens of the City of Sioux Falls, regarding the Brockhouse Animal Collection surplus resolution by the Mayors office and city council, we will be collecting signatures of all registered voters from Lincoln and Minnehaha Counties and who are residents of the City of Sioux Falls at Abby Normals Museum of The Strange Saturday February 15 from 10-6pm and Sunday February 16 from 10-4pm

We offer a discount if you prep your skulls for the beetles as in skin, flesh, remove brains, eyes, and as much extra meat as possible. European Deer Mount - $150 Bronzed Deer Skulls - $200 Beaver - $30 Coyote - $30 Mink - $10 Grandmas cat $60 Grandmaโ€™s Skull - $1200 The Rest of Grandma - $6500 (Grandma must have paper work) Domestic dog $250 Muskrat - $10 Bobcat $90 Mountain lion $200 Bear - $200 Bronzed Bear - $250 Paddlefish - $250 Everything else - Prices vary All stands, mounts and displays cost extra We do require a minimum deposit and charge a gag fee of $30 for maggots and rotting animals.(donโ€™t be that guy that drives around for two weeks showing off the dead animal in the back of your truck)
