Louise and her sister Thelma are a spirited pair of girl kittens, full of mischief and charm! At 3 months old they share the inseparable bond of sisters and can often be found tumbling around in the kitten foster room together.
Louise is the more adventurous of the two, always willing to investigate new things. She purrs constantly and is in constant need of pets, love, and attention. Louise is a high-energy kitten who will need a lot of play time. Thelma tends to be a bit more cautious, observing her sister first before joining in on the fun. Together they make a dynamic duo of kittens!
Both sisters also have incredibly soft coats and unique markings, being brown tabbies with tortishell undertones. Thelma and Louise would love to continue their journey together in a furever home!

Pippin and Merry are bonded brothers who are looking for a home where they can live together. NEW CRITTERS ALERT!
Merry and Pippin are 3 month old cute little boys. They were rescued from an alley on seventh street in Harrisburg. We took them inside and gave them a safe place to live and they have grown into very friendly kitty boys. Merry is the shyer of the two, but he is a serious love bug. He loves to nuzzle and curl up on your chest. Merry loves playing with his foster brothers and sisters, and they are both very vocal when they wrestle or are hungry. They are not afraid to come right up to you and ask for attention. They both love their chasing toys and their cat tower; they both love to nap in the window or curl up with you on a blanket. Merry & Pippin have never been apart and will thrive in a home where they can be together, they are good with other cats but have not been around dogs yet. Could these two cute little purr boxes be the right kitties for your family?

Critter of the Week: Butter
You might be thinking: Why is a black and white kitten named Butter? Isn’t that a name you’d give to a buff-colored kitty? Well, there’s a very good explanation. Butter is one of a litter of three named Peanut, Butter, and Jelly. And all are ready to be adopted. Butter is 4 months old, likes to nap on his foster mom’s lap, and thinks he’s the bravest of his littermates. He’d love to be adopted with one of them or live with another active kitten or cat.

He is 6-7 months old and fully vetted. He was found abandoned at a cat colony with his carrier. Meowing his head off he came running to the feeder. You will not find a nicer young boy! He is extremely friendly and affectionate, loves to be held and lap sit, loves to play, and loves people. Arlo is a beautiful black panther with stunning green eyes and has a very short haired coat. "Bodhi likes to lay in the sink while the water is dripping. He gets so wet! Elsie likes to drink from the dripping faucet but doesn't want to get wet. They have brought such joy to my life."

CRITTER UPDATE! We received this from Ace's new family. "I just wanted to let you know that Ace has been an absolutely amazing cat and well loved by my girlfriend and I! I wanted to send you some pictures of his good life he is living!" Thank you so much for the update and sending us this awesome video!
CRITTERS UPDATE! Just a little update on Binx, Buzz and Butch who have Swimmers Syndrome. Their physical therapy is helping. It's great to see them playing and acting like normal kittens.
CRITTER UPDATE! Pete was adopted about a month ago. His family sent in this video to show us how he is doing. They said "Attached is a clip of Pete playing with his new favorite toy. He is A D O R A B L E" Thank you for letting us know how Pete's doing and we think Pete is pretty darn cute, too.
CRITTERS ADOPTED! Tinsley and Tessa were adopted! It appears they have already won over the family dog who holds their toys for them. You have got to watch this video; it is nothing but cuteness. Congratulations to Tinsley and Tessa and their new family.
CRITTER ADOPTION! Gatsby has been adopted! Congratulations to him and his new family. We received this video of him digging into his toys at his new home. What a silly boy he is.
ANOTHER UPDATE ON BEANS AND HIS HEARTWORM TREATMENT -- Beans made it through round one of heartworm treatment. He is spending his days and nights in a crate to keep his lungs calm. These pesky worms, the size of angel hair pasta, reside in the heart but when they begin to die they float to the lungs where the body will begin to break them down. But those dead buggers can form clots in the lungs which could lead to death for Beans, hence the reason for no exertion. But his foster mom his trying to keep him entertained. Four times a day he gets his meals in a snuffle bowl. Occasionally he gets a bone or a Kong filled with some peanut butter. If the house is calm he comes out on a leash for some cuddles but even getting on the couch is strictly forbidden by orders of the vet. His second and third doses are this week. It is said that weeks 5 and 6 have the most death of the worms so those will be most critical for rest. He has been so sweet and easy going through all of this. He seems to know his future is bright! ----------------------------------------- UPDATE ON BEANS AND HIS HEARTWORM TREATMENT ---- How do you tell a dog who thought his life was saved and was going to a better life was going to be put through extreme pain and kept in a crate for months? Maybe that's why he looks a little worried today. Beans is at the vets right now getting his first heartworm treatment. He will be there the whole day. The shot is known to be pretty painful. When he gets home tonight, he will be starting a very strict no activity routine. He will mostly be confined to his crate. He is such a sweet trooper and is still putting his faith and trust in us. We will not let him down. We will do whatever it takes to get this little guy healthy and to help him find his happy ending. Please, please be diligent about your dog’s heartworm medication and save them from this grueling treatment and cost. -------------------------------------------------- Beans started his antibiotics rig
