We got a surprise!
Was not expecting any rexs in the Hope x Thor litter but guess what!?

We got some really cute super curly rex babies

This litter is all dumbos and appears to be all Beige or possibly champagne. We will get a better idea once they are more active and we can see their eye colors better.

We will have some of these cute beans available at 8 weeks old.

We also have a litter due in about a 4-5 days
(Dumbo Martin Silvermaned x Dumbo Silvermaned) expecting full Dumbo litter with Silvermaned, Blues or Chocolates. But we could get some other colors too!

We also have a black rex top eared doe bred to a blue rex who is topped eared.
She is due in another 2 weeks. If she took.

Spent Sunday as the cleaning day to scrub and clean everyone's set ups, add new things, out with the old stuff and giving attention.

We have several ratties looking for new families of their own.

The youngest litters are just 5 weeks old and will be ready in 3ish weeks at 8 weeks old.
We have a variety of colors and patterns from blues, fawns, beige, blacks with markings. Dumbos and regular top ears.
Some may be velveteen/satin coat types.

We also still have a couple older pups from our last litters still looking.

We also have a few breedings that has happened or lined up, so keep an eye out and ears open for future updates and soon to come pictures!

The boys are litter brothers. Not dominant, sweet but Dash prefers to not be handled much, he squirms.
They have been with my older males and new rats with no issues. Preferably they go together unless you have another rat. They are pretty lazy and prefer to take their naps in paper they steal from me and love hanging out on their shelves vs huts.
They have not been bred but are intact.

The girls are sweet and really love to explore and hop around.
Most are super good about handling and chill but a couple will wiggle about.
The dumbos are all litter sisters (full siblings to the two boys above). They are more relaxed than the top eared girls. They love sleeping in their coconut shell homes and digging in their digging boxes.

The dumbos are out of a light/sky blue Dumbo blazed female who was bred to a black Silvermaned Dumbo male.

The top ears are out of a Hooded black&white Hooded Female and a steel blue Berkshire Dumbo male. There was dwarfs in this litter.

Just the 🐀 no cages or such. Will leave with their current mix of food.
They are used to daily fresh fruits and veggies and snacks. Used to dogs. Handled from birth and daily.

Rat Tail's Rattery was set up to help offer pet quality rats for families to love, who we hope will be genetically healthier with lovely temperaments.
We want to also help those needing help with re-homing or placing their pet rats elsewhere, so offering a helping hand in rescuing or taking them in.
We also at times will have healthy rats for live feed.

Thank you all for taking a look and liking to my new page.
This is a small hobby that I started back up after some time away from having pet rats.

With everything that has been happening and the pressures of life right now, I'm taking a leap and hopefully it will help me in some manner.
I thought I was going to have to rehome my little rats, but it is looking like that isn't that case, so here we are.

I'm just going to push forward and take it day by day.
