We are waiting in a VERY LONG line to checkout of Convention this morning! Each rabbit ear ID is checked against your paperwork to make sure you have the right animal. 27000 rabbits and cavies; checkout didn’t begin till 7 am; and everyone is ready to go home!
There is an express lane for 6 or less—-we have 9! 🙄

It’s Judging Day! Dwarf Hotots and Mini Rex are starting breeds—at 8 am. LOTS of people and LOTS of rabbits! We had high hopes for Billy Idol the Rabbit to do well today, but he decided to molt TODAY and is in a HORRIBLE nippy moody☹️ hopefully the judge has quick reflexes

In a few weeks we will be attending the 101st American Rabbit Breeders Association Convention in Louisville Kentucky.
It will be HUGE—largest ever!
These numbers reflect the number of people showing and the number of rabbits and cavies!
That’s 27,382 animals under one roof! It will be amazing!!

Come out to the Northwest Arkansas District FAIR this week! We got our rabbits in place this afternoon. The rabbit show is at 9:30 am on Tuesday. The humidity this summer was not kind to the rabbits coats, but excited to get feedback though! Proud of Jenna today—she set up the rabbits pretty much all by herself today😀

We have 2 week old kits! After quite the experience, we have 4 baby dwarf Hotots (two seperate litters.). First time mom Betty White has been a rockstar fostering after Astria decided she wasn’t interested Hopefully all the kits will continue doing well!

Some bunny is getting ready for kits! LaToya has been working for days on her nest. Friday morning we are moving several expectant does into the basement due to frigid temps next week.

Change of pace this morning:: we went to the 7:15 am workout at Churchill Downs. Enjoyed the horses—we had a wonderful time! Highly recommend that tour for everyone. FYI—the Kentucky Derby Museum is neat too!

Update: It is the NEWESTBreed! ******************************************* Today has been a “slow” day!🙃. Here is a video Jenna did on the Blue Holicer rabbits. Tomorrow they are going to present to ARBA and hopefully it will be the next recognized breed.

8:00 am—judging started! View from a portion of the show floor! Long day to say the least—our Dwarf Hotots hit the table at 3:30 pm! It was a great day though—made a new friend—best part of this hobby😀

Good morning from Convention! The video is only 1/3 of the rabbit—one side of the building.😶. Our Dwarf Hotots are on other side—we will show that later! Amazing is all I can say! Glad to say all 3 Hotots are eating and seem good!

We have more babies! Our REW mini Rex Twinkle gave us 5! 4 are REW, and one chocolate! Enjoy the video!

Hoppy Monday Everyone! These are our 7 week old mini Rex bunnies—hopefully Jenna’s 4H show rabbits this fall! During my injury, mama rabbit stopped nursing these at 2 weeks. I’ve supplemented their diet while they got use to pellets. May not be high show quality for an ARBA show, but they sure are loveable😁❤️

Video:Jenna loves the slow motion feature😂. Meet Magic aka Mr. Timid! He came to live with us in November. He is a beautiful black Mini Rex Buck. He is part of our show team this spring that probably won’t get to show☹️. He and Wrinkle just produced their first litter of kits::she had 6! We are hoping for good things with this litter! Short video of Jenna bringing Magic into visit!!
