Hello everyone! My name is Sahara, I am the owner of Hippity Hoppity Haven. I apologize for the absence of posts, due to family trouble I had to temporarily close the rescue.
These two need our help. They have temporarily been taken in due to previous owners threatening to turn them loose, along with a third which is still currently loose. If anyone is able to donate any supplies or donations towards vetting, we would be so grateful. We are in need of x pens, litter boxes, timothy hay, wood pellet litter, oxbow adult pellets, and blankets.

We are located in Harrison, AR if anyone would like to donate supplies. Otherwise donations can be sent to my cashapp at $SaharaMG22 or directly to our vet for bills.

Coco’s new favorite sitting spot is on her litter box! 😆💕

This lovely lady has had many adoptions fall through and we would love more than anything to find her forever place. A home with another fixed bunny would be ideal, as we feel she would do amazing with a bun partner. Coco’s broken foot that was beyond repair will more than likely cause her to need to be on arthritis meds when she is older, so that is something to keep in mind so Coco can be the happiest possible!

Coco’s adoption fee is lowered to $30 to assist in finding her a loving home, the vetting process will be the same to make sure she will go to a safe forever home. We would love to send Coco’s belongings with her as well when she finds a family. ❤️

After many failed adoptions, Hammy has found a home with us. Our Polly girl is very picky and had not found a bond mate over all the buns she’s met with, so I said why not? Let’s let those two meet. And, it was love at first sight! By far the easiest bonding ever. They’re officially staying together 24/7 now and both of them are so happy together. Hammy is well loved and enjoying life with his bunwife. ❤️

Coco and the rest of the bunnies would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas!!

We do have sad news, Hammy’s adoption failed the day he was to be adopted 😢 so he is still searching for his forever home!

We are unfortunately not accepting any intakes at this time until adoptions take place. But we would greatly appreciate any donations for the bunnies currently here, as everything has been being paid out of pocket. We’re low on pellets and hay at this time. Thanks everyone for all your support !

Very exciting news!!! Hammy is PENDING ADOPTION!! He had a celebratory banana last night (not the whole banana) and boy did he enjoy that! Look at his happy bum twitches 😄

Hammy’s mane is getting so fluffy! He also has a little crush on Polly 😆 (they both need a haircut lol) Adoption fees during the month of November are going to be $40 for singles and $70 for pairs!

Coco has come such a far way since coming here! She put on some much needed weight, is no longer scared of people, found out stuffed animals are her best friends, and has most importantly healed physically and mentally from her prior abuse.

As mentioned before, Coco will need to be put on arthritis meds when she is older (as recommended by our vet) due to her broken foot that was left to heal on its own in the past. It doesn’t slow her down at all though! When she gets the zoomies, she goes just as fast as all the other buns!

We have some super exciting news we’d like to share with you all. Stella and Momo are officially bonded and loving being together! So of course, they will have to be adopted as a bonded pair.

Adoption fees for bonded pairs are going to be $90, and 100% of the fee will go back to the bunnies to help pay for vet care and supplies!

Ps don’t mind the state of their pen, they made a mess before the pics were taken 😆 (doesn’t help that Stella enjoys using the litter box as a dig box 🥴)

Sweet Hammy❣️

This little one has not quite warmed up to people, as the trauma from his previous home has caused him to not be very fond of us. We are working on socializing him more before he is ready for adoption, but we don’t think he’ll ever be one to really like pets or being around people a lot but more just sticking to himself, and that’s okay. Hammy is perfect in our eyes, we just wish we could’ve helped him sooner, he suffered for two long years. 💔

Right now we’re in most need of hay and donations for vet bills so we can get everyone left fixed and future buns on our waiting list. We are also sad to say a couple packages of donations sent to the buns were stolen off of our property. 😕

Stella taking a break after eating two full trays of hay and some pellets 😆 For those who don’t know, bunnies need unlimited hay at all times!

Hay is the most important part of their diet, at 6 months and below, they need alfalfa and ages above that they need timothy! If you’ve noticed you are allergic to timothy hay or your bunny won’t eat it, try out orchard or oat hay!

We can’t understand how no one has wanted to give Stella her forever home! She is the sweetest girl ever, and soaks up any attention she can get. You seriously can’t walk into a room without her bombarding you for pets, and sometimes she chases you when you try to leave! She really has such a beautiful personality, and we would love to see her go to a loving forever home. Stella has been at our rescue since December, 2021.

Momo and Coco relaxing in their new larger spaces! We’ve recently been relocating to Springfield, MO. (hence why we haven’t been posting much lately!) We set up a large garage and got an a/c hookup to keep the buns cool at all times ❄️

This move doesn’t change that we will continue to rescue in Arkansas as well! We are hopeful to gain more foster homes, as we are residing in a larger city to help even more buns.

Getting good pics of Hammy is not easy, as this little guy prefers to not sit still for anything! However, during free roam time, he enjoys running on the rug so we catch some pics at that time! Isn’t he the cutest little fluff ball?
