The truck verses horse gives you a idea on Big Ben's size. The pics also say if you have it they will find it. Lol The look that says " what are you looking at" is all over the horse's face. Ha ha ha

The incredible Dr pole at our Michigan barn working with our horse coco. In our area he is our vet but most know him from animal planet. Doc pol is a compassionate and amazing Vet with a great personality. Still making barn calls and serving central Michigan!

UPDATE: reunited with owner!

FOUND DOG: this cute little man was found in Gerrish Township, Higgins Lake in the area near Hitchcock Avenue, W Burdell Road, E Higgins Lake Drive. Safe with us at the shelter (and getting lots of TLC from staff!). Call 989-366-0260 to claim. Open 7 days a week from 9-4, except holidays.

UPDATE OWNER FOUND. Found at our Florida ranch. 37800 Illinois st lady lake Florida 32159. Was in a massive rain storm and almost hit by a garbage truck. Safe, well fed and loved until owner found.

“COLD HEARTED”

This winter make sure you keep an eye on your furry friend and don’t leave them unattended for too long in the cold weather! Many dogs freeze to death every winter due to neglect from their owners.

The idea that animals can “handle it” is an excuse for abuse. If you notice a dog being left outside in the cold, contact the police or animal control and tell them the dog has no access to water or shelter (if applicable) and needs to be taken indoors as required by law. That simple action could save a dogs life!

Naturally the cold affects different breeds of dogs differently. However, any dog is vulnerable to catching hypothermia or frostbite in weather below 20 degrees F.
So stay warm with our furry companions and keep a protective eye open for other animals!

SAVED and ADOPTED !!!
Teddy was brought to a veterinarian office to euthanize him because they didn't want him anymore. They already got a puppy. I am looking for a forever home for him. He needs out fast. Please help this sweet boy!

Teddy: 11 year old neutered German wire-haired pointer. Loves his people and lives with kids. Doesn’t really like other dogs but not aggressive towards them, just hasn’t been socialized around them. Unsure how he would be with cats. Has arthritis in his rear legs so needs pain meds and a joint supplement daily but is otherwise healthy. He thinks he’s a person and not a dog and just needs someone to love him in his golden years.

‼️ HELP NEEDED‼️
We DESPERATELY need fosters for these 2 poor babies that were DUMPED yesterday. Both are older males. The German Shepherd we named "Duke" is very timid and weary of people so we can tell he's had a HORRIBLE past and needs loving. The Jack Russell is "Jack" is a kind soul.

If we can't find a foster by tomorrow morning, these babies will have to be sent to Animal Control! Our kennels are over capacity and we have NOWHERE to hold these guys any longer. This is the LAST PLACE we want to send them but we have no choice.

If you personally can reach out to any rescues and they are willing to take one or both dogs, let us know. We have reached out to many and have been unable to find help. Tonight is the last night we can hold them.
