How Did I End Up Here?

My Story starts 12 years ago. I did not have access to the internet 90% of the time. I would go to the library once every week or every other week. I would spend an hour on the computer, then go get some new books to read. I always loved animals, still do, Wild life, pets, farm animals, and I always wanted a farm with a garden on it. At first the books I would read were about Native American ways of life Hunting, Fishing, Gathering, preparing for the next season and using what the earth had to offer when it was there. I would also read book of the land wild plants, animals, how and where they lived. Always very interested in these things. I did for a short time start getting into auto books, my little brother and I were thinking of doing some detail work. He could fix what was broke, I could paint it up nice. Even with this idea I still wanted a farm. One day I said to my self, if you are going to have a farm best start doing research now. So I checked out some farm books. One book I will not forget was titled Extraordinary Chickens. It had a puffy head polish chicken on the cover. I opened it a found Yokohamas & Spitzhaubens I was in love a determined to have these breeds one day. Years later when that day was finally here, nana and papa came home with what no one can resist baby chickens! 2 light Brahmas, 2 new Hampshire reds, 2 barred rocks. We ended up getting a few different breeds that year. All of witch we will be making breed pens for this year. Now here we are, and what kind of person would I be if I keep all these beautiful breeds and their lovely eggs to myself. My story has turned into Our story.
