A note from Brent - CHRISTmas missions
Date: Thursday, December 26, 2024
Location: Murfreesboro, TN
We are so thankful for tree sales at Campbell’s Christmas Tree Farm this year! With money from tree sales and donations, we brought in $1,115 toward Bibles for missions. We purchased 468 New Testaments, 20 whole Bibles through The American Bible Society and supported 10 different Bible translation goals the Wycliffe Bible Translators have going on throughout the entire world. The American Bible Society is distributing Bibles with people who have never had the Bible in their language, with orphans, with at-risk children, with Chinese Christians and with U.S. military soldiers that are defending our freedom.
This morning, we packed our bags with ham sandwiches, chips, Little Debbies, hot chocolate, meal cards, shirts and Bibles and headed to Murfreesboro, Tennessee. We were able to interact with 32 people and prayed with many. It was a beautiful day to be out in Murfreesboro walking the streets and sharing the Lord’s truth and love. Please pray for Garek, Reginald, James, Chris, Christa, Ricky, Logan, Sherrill, Samuel, Greg and Thurman. Some did not know the Lord, and some did know about Him. Others personally knew the Lord, but God had led us to them to give them His Word for the purpose that His Word can help them mature more in their relationship with Him. Some were doing well and some were struggling with so many issues. All are loved by the Lord, and He has and was pursuing each of them today. Pray that the Lord continues to encounter them in real ways that draws them to Him, to the reading of His Word, and to a new or deeper relationship with Him. Pray for those who received God's Word, that it would pe*****te each heart and mind, as well as change lives in a way that honors the Lord and satisfies their spirit with joy … a joy that is not found in this world, as expressed in John 10:10. Christ came to fix what we could not fix, to love everyone, in spite of what is given or not given in return, and for the created to bring Him glory. Jesus asks for all, but He first gave all for us! He never requires of us anything that He hasn't already done! Praise Him! Merry Christmas from the Campbells! We look forward to what the Lord has ahead for us and you in 2025. We hope to see you next year at Campbell's Christmas Tree Farm!
