Good Afternoon friends of Critter Cove! We are calling on all potential helpers to finish up the move tomorrow, February 22nd, and possibly Sunday, February 23rd! We are aiming for 10am - 5pm on both days. Anyone with strong backs and pickup trucks that are willing to lend a hand would be greatly appreciated. Once again, we thank you for your support!

Good Morning friends of Critter Cove! We are excited about our soft opening today. Please keep in mind this is only a partial opening; we will have feeder items available as listed in our previous post. In addition, we have frozen fish food and a small retail section available. While we currently do not have any fish available, we are working hard to get the stands built and our state of the art filtration system installed. With that being said, we are able to special order fish under the following conditions:

1. Fish must be picked up on the day they arrive (typically Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday)
2. Orders must be prepaid

Our hours moving forward will be 10am-7pm Monday though Saturday and 12pm-5pm on Sunday. Thank you all so much for the outpouring of support and your continued patience as we work to make Critter Cove the best it can be!

Hello new friends of Critter Cove! We are excited to announce our soft opening date for Thursday, February 20th! For the soft opening, we will be offering feeder insects and rodents of all kinds. While we are not quite ready to offer fish, reptiles, or other retail merchandise, we are working hard to prepare for our grand opening. We appreciate all of the support we have received; stay tuned for our grand opening announcement in March!

Hello new friends of Critter Cove! We appreciate all of the support and encouragement we have received over these past few weeks. We are excited to announce that we will be located at 50 S. Carlton St. in Harrisonburg, Virginia (directly next to Little Caesars, in the space that was Mattress Land). We are aiming for a soft opening mid-February and will update you as soon as the date is set!

We are excited with the progress we are making.

Our mission is to distinguish ourselves from traditional pet shops by prioritizing animal welfare and ensuring that both new and experienced pet owners have access to the latest information and resources for ensuring the happiness and health of their pets. Our dedicated staff is here to assist you at every step, from recommending appropriate enclosure sizes to advising on the proper diet for your selected pet and more. We are committed to providing you with the most accurate and comprehensive information available.

While we don’t have a location that we can announce quite yet, we have a space in mind and are in negotiations.

We plan on regular updates and will make an announcement as soon as we can.

We truly look forward to serving you with all of your reptile and aquatic needs. From guppies to clownfish, isopods to tegus, and fruit flys to hornworms, will have you covered.
