✅ Behavior guidance & reactivity work
✅ Service dog training & advanced programs
✅ Maintenance sessions for continued success
✅ Mobile Dog Nail Trims – no more stressful holds or forcing dogs through the process. Each trim is done with patience and calm handling, turning nail care into a positive experience.

🐾 Trudy’s Training Update! 🐾

Sometimes Reno gets so caught up in working with the dogs (and their humans) that she forgets to take photos or videos—this was one of those moments! But we do have a special photo to share… it’s the sign Mom posted right outside the door.

Reno sometimes recommends this for owners—especially those with a highly reactive dog at the door—because it buys extra time to work through the moment in real life situations. It’s a great reminder that people can wait. It’s not going to hurt them, it’s not going to make things worse. What is important is taking the time to train your dog, because training is a lifelong journey.

Trudy’s story is a special one. This sweet Corgi came from a breeding home with 13+ other dogs. Since joining her new family, she’s proven to be a loving, sweet girl—but she barks. A lot. All day, every day. She also needed obedience training to help bring more balance to her daily life. Everyone—friends, family, and the community—loves Trudy, but she needed help learning to control her excitement.

What’s especially heartwarming about Trudy is that she has so much love to give that during her training session, neighbors, friends, and family all joined in to learn how to help this little girl succeed. 💕

She’s already accomplished so much!
✅ She now walks beautifully on a loose lead—so beautifully, in fact, that during one walk she passed two small dogs going wild at a fence and never once looked their way. She stayed right in her heel position and didn’t acknowledge them at all—Reno wishes she’d had the camera ready for that perfect moment!
✅ She’s been excelling at her sit & stay with distractions.
✅ Mom, friends, and neighbors are all learning how to communicate with her effectively, which is helping her barking improve day by day.

Trudy still struggles with people entering the home—front door, back door—and with other dogs or animals passing in front of her house. The constant barking isn’t healthy for anyone, including Trudy. But with each session, she’s making progress, and Mom is gaining the tools to help her succeed.

With patience, communication, and consistency, this sweet Corgi’s excitement will be something she can manage—and everyone (including Trudy!) will be happier for it. 💕

💬 Let’s cheer on Trudy in the comments—she’s already come so far, and her best is yet to come! 🥳🐶

🐾 Sweet Ms. Frisbee’s Training Update! 🐾

Frisbee, our adorable Chihuahua mix, is on a biweekly training schedule for obedience and reactivity—and she’s been doing absolutely phenomenal! ✨ With very dedicated parents on both Mom and Dad’s side, she’s making wonderful progress every session.

In this video, Frisbee is working on her sit & stay with distractions—and she’s such a good listener. She wants to learn, she wants to train, and with just a little guidance, she gets better and better each time.

We also worked on her reactivity when people pass by. Like many dogs, Frisbee thrives on routine, so anything out of place can make her more reactive and vocal. Mom and Dad will be practicing to help lessen that reactivity.

The golden rule we follow is simple:
🐕 We don’t want our dogs to stop barking completely—they’re dogs, and barking is natural.
🐕 What we do want is to teach them when to stop once we’ve acknowledged the alert.

That means allowing them to bark to let us know something’s happening, then backing them up with a clear command—“Enough, no more bark, I’ve got it”—so they learn you’ll take over the situation from there.

Frisbee is making great strides, and I can’t wait to see her progress at our next session! 💕

💬 Leave a comment to cheer on Ms. Frisbee—she’s working hard and it shows! 🥳🐶

💖 Sadie’s Story – From “Aggressive” to Adored 💖

Reno first met Sadie when she was just 6 months old. Now, at 3 years old, they’ve built an incredible bond and friendship that’s only grown stronger over the years.

After Sadie completed her obedience training, Mom and Dad asked Reno to come for her “spa days” every 4 weeks—meaning nail trims, love, and special time together. Every month, Reno looks forward to her Sadie day. 🐾

In the video, you’ll see Reno bring her a special treat—but it’s also important to share Sadie’s backstory.

When Reno first met her parents on contract-signing day, they shared that their vet had labeled Sadie “aggressive” at only 6 months old. The vet refused to trim her nails unless she was sedated—and sent them home with two prescriptions to give her before the next nail trim. Her appointment for that trim just happened to be scheduled for the very next day—an appointment they immediately canceled and never rescheduled.

That same day, Reno reached down, started playing with Sadie’s paws, then went outside to grab the nail trimming kit. Within 20 minutes, all of Sadie’s nails were trimmed—no medication, no stress.

From that moment, her parents decided she would never be given those unnecessary drugs—and Reno would always be a part of their lives.

The word aggressive is used far too often and unfairly. Nervous dogs, scared dogs, or dogs who simply haven’t been taught how to feel safe are often mislabeled. Dog communication can look “harsh” to the human eye, but that doesn’t make them dangerous—it means they need guidance.

Sadie’s story is just one example of what Reno does:
✨ Changing one dog at a time.
✨ Changing one family at a time.

💬 Drop a comment to show Sadie some love and celebrate how far she’s come! 🥰🐶

❄️ Abby’s First Walk With Mom ❄️

Meet Abby, a sweet, full-of-life Husky mix with enough energy to light up a room (and maybe the whole neighborhood!). 🐾 From the moment her family brought her home, she’s been bursting with enthusiasm—sometimes a little too much to handle, especially for Mom.

That’s why her family reached out to Reno. They knew Abby was an amazing girl; they just needed the tools to handle her energy in a way that made life easier and happier for everyone.

Dad has faithfully walked Abby twice a day, a couple miles each time—rain, snow, or sunshine. He knew that without regular exercise to keep her physically and mentally engaged, her behavior could become too much to manage.

But for Mom, Abby’s high energy and occasional reactivity on walks made her nervous. She worried about not having control—so she never walked Abby. Not once.

Until now. 💖

This video is a special moment for Reno because it’s not just about dog training—it’s about changing lives, one dog and one family at a time. This was Abby’s first walk ever with Mom, and it was absolutely beautiful to watch.

Abby has also been working on her sit & stay, as well as sit & stay with distractions, and she’s doing wonderfully. But this moment—this first walk—is the one that matters most.

From here, it will only get better. 🐕💫

💬 Drop a comment below to cheer on Abby and her family—this is a big milestone worth celebrating! 🎉🐾

🐾 Brayden’s Training Journey 🐾

Meet Brayden, an 11-year-old Chihuahua whose story will pull at your heartstrings. 💖 His mom reached out to Reno shortly after adopting him, knowing he needed help with his confidence. Brayden came from a difficult and likely abusive past, and when we first met, he was completely shut down—skittish, scared, and avoiding interaction.

He had “safe spots” where he would run and hide anytime he got too nervous. He wouldn’t greet visitors, wouldn’t take pets, and simply tried to stay invisible.

But over the past few weeks, this little guy has begun to blossom. 🌸 Mom’s dedication and patience have made all the difference. Brayden has discovered that learning can be fun—and he loves his loose-lead heel and training sessions!

In this video, you’ll see him working on his sit & stay with distractions—knocking on doors, walking outside—things that once would have been far too overwhelming for him. Now? He’s doing phenomenal.

Mom takes daily walks with him, and they both love it. Brayden now jumps on the couch to ask for pets, gets excited to engage, and although he sometimes still retreats, 90% of the time he’s out in the open, curious and happy.

Brayden’s life is no longer scary—he’s safe, loved, and continuing to learn. His forever home has given him exactly what he deserves: protection, patience, and unconditional love for the rest of his days. 🏡💞

💬 Drop a comment to cheer on Brayden—this brave little guy has come such a long way, and his journey is just beginning! 🥰🐶
