DeLima Stables kicked off the fall season at the Lexington Equine Medical Hunter Pace this weekend!
Two DeLima teams entered the event, and a great time was had by both riders and horses!

Our students have been enjoying some early morning trips to Masterson Station!

A huge thank you to the team at Masterson Station for keeping the property, arenas, and xc courses in such beautiful condition! Both our riders and horses have had a blast!

It’s been an amazing week here at DeLima Stables! Several of our horses and riders have gotten off property to enjoy some time on the trails. We are grateful this week for nice weather, incredible horses, and great company!

☀️💧WATER BUFFET 💧☀️

With heat index temperatures reaching into the 90s and 100s this week, the DeLima crew has been getting creative about keeping our horses cool and happy.

What better way to beat the heat than with a water buffet? This week’s flavors were Apple with Fresh Mint, Turmeric, Cinnamon, and Carrot with Peppermint.

Our Apple with Fresh Mint and Turmeric selections got raving reviews!

Fantastic weekend for DeLima Stables at the MLEC Mini Trial I! We are grateful to have gone home with learning experiences, ribbons, and memories made! So proud of our crew!

Both pairs came home with ribbons and a fantastic experience!

It is with heavy hearts we announce that our sweet Darsha passed away this morning. 🌈

Darsha had a heart of gold and was one of the kindest mares. She was forgiving, patient, and loved by all who knew her. Darsha love to meander her way to her stall for breakfast every morning, and even at 32 years old, she always had energy and excitement about life.

Darsha taught many students throughout her time at DeLima Stables; our kids and adults alike are better riders because of the horse Darsha was.

We will miss Darsha dearly and find peace knowing that she is in a better place. 🩷
