!!!Huge Announcement!!!

I will be having neck surgery on December 26th and will have to be off for 6 weeks. Obviously, the time frame could change with complications or the healing process.

This means that Happy Tails Grooming will be CLOSED during that time.

My girls and I will ask you kindly at your next visit, to schedule your next 5 to 6 appointments ahead of time. This will insure that your dogs will not get matted, over grown or smelly during my time off.

We can work around this!!

I am so sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but I have no choice anymore but surgery 🙁

Just a reminder, as usual we will be closed all of next week for vacation. We do it every year and plan way ahead of time for the time off. (Much deserved😃)
Our last day is tomorrow, June 29th. We will reopen on July 9th. Have a great and safe Fourth of July! 🎆🎇

Thank you everyone for allowing me to cancel my day yesterday. We will be in contact to reschedule everyone today and will work to make sure it's within the next few days/week. I apologize if we were unable to contact you and hope you saw the sign. I got to work at 830 and by 845 I was on my way to the ER. Baby Cat was stuck on the top shelf of my bathroom cabinet and I fell and dislocated my shoulder trying to rescue him. It went back into place and now I'm just SO sore, but rest assured I'm back to work today. Also, Baby got himself down 3 minutes after I fell. I'm assuming my screaming in pain startled him enough to make the jump himself 🤣🤣🤣

Just a heads up, you can not get to the shop from Polk Road. They just started the road construction today, and I am unaware of how long it will take before finished. Please allow time for detours to arrive on time for your scheduled appointments! Safe travels and enjoy the sunshine!

Huge shout out to Companion Animal Veterinarian Services today, and always for that matter. Baby Cat is back to the shop this evening, still groggy, but much better than this morning. He was yelling in pain when I arrived at work this morning and was at CAVS by 915. As always, they have never hesitated to take my animals when I needed them. (Which is a lot 🤣) Here's some random pics of Baby for funsies! Thanks again Dr.Wendy and all the sweet kind amazing ladies at CAVS ❤️

Happy Holidays everyone! Just a quick reminder that as usual, Happy Tails will be closed between Christmas and New Years. Our last day is Saturday the 23rd, and we will reopen Tuesday, January 2nd. We do this every year to spend much needed time at home with our families and get much needed rest!! Thanks to all of our wonderful clients for another amazing year ❤️❤️❤️

Update!
We will be back up and running for tomorrow. Thanks to the City of Hart for being so prompt after we learned it was an outside problem, all fixed and ready for work tomorrow!

Unfortunately, due to some electrical problems, we will be closing early. Thanks to the ones who rescheduled from today for later in the week. Electrician should be here early afternoon to hopefully cure a small problem, and not find a big one. 🤞🤞🤞

Baby girl is here ❤️ Congrats to Grace and her mom Jackie on becoming a grandma! These two have been the best people to work with at Happy Tails, and we are so happy for the family ❤️

Just a heads up, our beautiful pregnant Grace is due to start the inducing process today and tomorrow. I want to thank everyone who has rescheduled or changed times for us. Depending on how the week progresses, I may need to do that more. As you know, Grace's mom Jackie works here as well and of course she needs to be with Grace during this time!

So bare with me as the week continues with possible schedule changes, but send good vibes and prayers as the girls wait on their beautiful arrival!

Just a quick reminder, we are going to be going back to our winter hours starting next week. This means our hours of operation will be Tuesday-Friday, 9-5 and Saturdays 9-1.

Because of this change, we will be on a three-day weekend this weekend and resume our hours on Tuesday.

Just a reminder, we will be closed the entire week of the Fourth of July. We take this time off every year to spend much needed time with family and also to regain our mental and physical health 🤣

Don't sleep on this awesome dog park Oceana County! Leon loves to stretch his long legs here and I'm sure he would love friends to come and play with him! One area for large dogs and one for small. Newly installed benches and water. There's even a clean up station! ( So be responsible people 😉) It's located on the south side of the cemetery in Shelby!

We are looking for someone over 16 to come help us at the end of the day. It would be after school for a couple hours. Duties include but not limited to: LOTS of cleaning, bringing dogs in and out, answering phones and scheduling appts, checking people out, filling shampoos, laundry etc. Like I said, it would only be for a couple hours everyday, maybe longer on Tuesdays since we are open until 8 pm. The hours in the summer would stay the same, even when there isn't any school. I would prefer someone with a driver's license in case I need my kids picked up and I can't leave. Also, someone with babysitting experience would be helpful as my youngest will be here and may need some extra attention or maybe a trip to the park. Hours may increase, but those days would be more of babysitting my son while at the shop. Told yall the duties vary 🤣🤣
