Heartfield Farm is sure proud of our family barrel racer and trainer Brandy Bichel. 2nd show of a winter series she is competing in this past Sunday. First show 3rd in the 1D and pulled a check super close times to first and 2nd place. This Sunday she smoked the pattern with her and Ally's personal best 14.667. First place in 1D!! Very excited to watch this team progress together. Home bred mare and trained by Brandy Bichel. Impressive!!

Brandy's first ride on Frannie. Only second ride since we got her. Super nice english pony. Just needs a tune up. Miss B is in love again!
I am so incredibly proud of my Grandaughter, and the horsemanship skills that she has mastered at such a young age. She and I have worked together since she could walk and I've loved every minute of it. Her accomplishments with Tuffy are many in the short time she has been showing him, and they get better all the time. She is now starting to use her skills on Snoopy. I LOVE this pony. He is a natural at everything. He hasn't been touched for a month. This was about his 8th ride ever. Did a little round pen, she gets on a little nervous, but I feel confident I know the pony. I coach her, and she does it all. She has the timing and feel at 12 years old! I think this pony just might be her next one in the ring. ;)
Eating grass was kind of a temptation, so we rigged up a rope halter. lol
After a very successful show Saturday, it was time to relax,enjoy, and have some fun. And that we did. I see more bridless riding in these two's future. Pretty amazing for an 11 year old and her 7 year old POA
These two have such a bond together. They are simply a team made in Heaven and he is her <3 horse.
Love is clearly visible in the hugs here. Warms my heart every time I see it.
