We are seeking a foster home for three abandoned kittens. They require feeding every 2-3 hours and will need regular check-ins. We will provide you with the necessary formula and guidance on what to do. The fostering period will be temporary, lasting about 4-6 weeks, until the kittens are able to eat on their own. Thank you!

Talk about a glow-up. Next month will be a year since we took in our first rescue puppies. Polly here is the only one left. All seven of her siblings and her momma have been adopted. I struggle to understand why she hasn’t had a person come to meet her yet. She’s silly, athletic, playful, good with kids and cute to boot. Hopefully her time is coming soon.

We are still unable to take on anymore dogs or cats as this time as adoptions are moving at a snails pace. As a small shelter we just don’t have the visibility like others. Facebook and Petfinder are the only real avenues we have for being noticed. This doesn’t stop people from asking us to help other animals in need but unfortunately we just don’t have the resources. If you’d be interested in fostering one of our sweet pups to help get them more exposure, please let us know.

Lastly, we appreciate the support over the last year. It’s been ups and downs for my wife, my best friend, and myself who have been doing our best to keep this afloat. Try as we might, we are approaching a threshold where it may no longer be financially possible to do this. Dog food, cat food, litter, supplies, medical treatment (the largest expense) is draining us. We have used personal funds to feed the pups at times but the reality is things are just getting more and more expensive.

My wife made a solo trip to the spay and neuter clinic this week which means we now have a bunch of little ones ready for homes! 🐈‍⬛

We still have many dogs that need a home too. Most of our dogs have been with us in excess of 8-9 months. In an effort to try and find the right homes we are cutting our adoption fees for the remainder of the month of March.

$50 for Dogs and $40 for Cats. That includes all their vaccinations as well as spay/neuter. If you are interested, please send us a message and we will send you an adoption questionnaire.

While it is true that a pet microchip company has closed, some unscrupulous people have sought to take advantage of this situation. Some of the links such as petchip.info are scam sites looking to take your information and sell it. Personally, I recommend talking to your vet to see if youre affected before you give any information online and certainly before paying an illegitimate website. Stay safe.

Save This Life microchip company shut down suddenly. Pet owners should re-register their pet's chips as soon as possible to restore information.

February 09, 2011 was the day Titan came home from SOS with me. Certainly changed my trajectory in life and am grateful for him.

In other news, I have had a change of employment which has occupied much of my time. This page and the rescue itself is being run almost exclusively by my wife with help from my close friend. With my extended absence for the next few months, we will not be taking on any more animals until I can assist more effectively again. So I ask you have some patience in our responses as it may take time.

We are always in need of food for both cats and dogs. We will be making another spay and neuter trip with our remaining kittens in the next couple weeks. As always we appreciate your support in helping us achieve this.

We hope yall endured this storm safely. The straw was helpful for sure. We stocked the doghouses with about 6 inches of it (thank you for the donations!). We also built a massive warming fire and put out heat lamps for our pups. They were happy to play in the snow. Our horde of cats on the other hand are patiently waiting for the white stuff to disappear. We still have plenty of animals in need of permanent homes and are always accepting donations of food and toys.

If you are feeding a male cat, please do not wait to have him neutered. Every second he is out there is a HUGE risk. Unneutered male cats fight. I don't care how sweet you think he is. All of them fight - it's their nature. And it's the way the most severe feline diseases are spread. You can prevent this before it happens! And, you can prevent a lot of new kittens being born outside to suffer in the harsh environment.

Don't wait for him to show up injured!
Don't wait for the weather to get warmer.
Don't wait because "he can't have kittens".
Don't wait because "you'll do it later".
Don't wait to earn his trust more.
Don't wait for him to contract deadly diseases.
