It’s not the prettiest addition but it’s functional. I threw a bunch of my own money in materials and have spent my free time this week converting a portion of my shop into an indoor/outdoor “catio”. It needs some spit and polish but the new kitties are happy to be out of quarantine and into a larger space.
We are running low on both dog and kitten dry food. Please consider purchasing a bag as it would be extremely appreciated.
As always thank you for your support and patience. We will be closed this week for intakes and adoptions to attend some family business. We will let everyone know when we are back to normal.
Like Gemma, Darla is watching her puppies her puppies get adopted one-by-one. No one has expressed interest in her. This 100 lbs house hippo just wants to chill. She does well with dogs of all sizes but most of the time keeps to herself. She’s the first to greet me at morning and evening feeding and has such a calm, loving energy. All the dogs in this video are available for adoption. Message us for more information. Thank you for your support!
The sweetest ball of fluff we have just went home to his new family. So happy that he will be spoiled in his new life.
Not the most ideal solution but all the pups are safe. Roach was able to ride out the storm at a house, Rudy gets one workshop to himself, Darla and the pups get my workshop and Gemma gets to hang out with one of her pups we have inside. They will be safe for now.
These are the ones that will be accompanying Tyson to the vet next Thursday. All of them are available for adoption except Coco who has a home already waiting for her. Message us for more info.
Rudy is ready for a home! He’s approximately a year old, fixed and UTD on shots. His past is unknown but it’s evident people haven’t been kind to him. We have worked a lot and he’s quick to approach and lick but doesn’t like to be grabbed at. He is EXTREMELY athletic and can run like the wind. He loves to play with all the other dogs but isn’t gonna challenge anyone to be the boss. He just wants to play and be loved. He would do fine in a multi-dog household and if you’re a runner looking for a companion, Rudy could be it with a little training.
Tyson has been with us for just over 4 weeks. When we took him to the vet initially, he weighed only 5 lbs. this morning he weighed in at 14 lbs. Tripling his body weight in a month is about as good as it gets for him. He has become the playful puppy he should’ve always been. He will be scheduled to be neutered soon and then made available for adoption.
We’ve been socializing Tyson more and more. Ace seems to have taken a shine to him. Tyson also likes to play with the kitties. His kennel training is going great. Only real issue is he is terrified of the big bright ball in the sky and hates being outside. Who knows what he lived through but we will get him comfortable there too.
Polly is the last of Gemma’s eight pups we took in back in May. I felt bad that she doesn’t have any siblings to play with anymore so we opened the gate and let Darla and her pups play. Polly has about 10-15 lbs on most of them and she’s built like her momma, a walking muscle. She loves the water, especially when you clean her pool. She does well with dogs of all sizes, but remains untested with cats. If you’re interested in adopting her, let us know. She is fixed and UTD on vaccines.
Rudy is slowly building trust with me. Definitely has more meat on his bones and loves to play with his new friends. He has such a great demeanor and playful energy, though still skeptical of being touched. We have 3 of Gemma’s pups left. Mable had a family committed to her but they backed out. Nova and Polly have received zero interest which is disheartening because they are great pups. We will keep our chins up though and hope they find their homes soon.
