We had such an Amazing time during our Fall. Classes, and I just can not wait to get it started back up again for spring
! Group Classes are very interactive for the dog and owner and there are different classes to fit your needs and goals for your dog! We will be meeting once a week beginning September 14th for 6-7wks. I’m so looking forward to meeting you all and your dogs!

🐶AKC STAR PUPPY PROGRAM

Do you have a new puppy, and want to give him/her the best start you can? Then this Program is for you! S.T.A.R. stands for Socialization, Training, Activity, and Responsibility, and all of these elements will be covered in this program. This class is primarily for dogs under the age of 6 months, and will cover topics of socialization, potty training, prevention of destructive behaviors, crate training, how to deal with stress and anxiety in our dog, and introduction to obedience behaviors through motivational training. All puppies much be up to date on vaccines.

-Starting March 15th at 11am meeting for 7wks

🐶HERO K9 ACADEMY’S CGC PREP AND EVALUATION – INTERMEDIATE OBEDIENCE TITLE

Do you want your dog to be a good citizen in your community? Then this class is for you! We will take the basic obedience skill sets and make them functional in our day to day life; whether that be in our home, in a public setting, or in the presence of other dogs. This class is designed to prepare your dog for their Canine Good Citizen Evaluation through the AKC. By the end of the 7 week course, we will hold testing, free of charge, for your dog to gain his/her CGC title. All dogs much be up to date on vaccines.

-Starting March 15th at 12pm meeting for 7wks

🐶HERO K9 ACADEMY’S BETTER PET PROGRAM – BASIC OBEDIENCE

This class is perfect to introduce your dog to basic commands such as sit, sit-stay, down, down-stay, loose leash heeling, recall, place, and leave it. Management and responsible dog ownership will also be covered in this class. This is a fun class with the goal of giving a safe and stress free environment for you and your pet to learn in. We will show you how to be successful in reading your dog and how to begin training in a motivational and fun way. All dogs much be up to date on vaccines.

Some training pups from the last couple weeks! We have been busy putting in the work and making progress! Also when you get a 2lb puppy you got to get baby/puppy pictures! 👶🐶Avie finally got a dog her size! Haha and currently both have teething in common! Luna the puppy was here for a day stay and looking forward to seeing more of her and watching her training progress! Boone the German Shepherd and his sister boarding and while he was here got some training days added on! Red is with me for our 4wk board and train! He has made so much progress in our first week together! Working on building confidence through training!

Christmas and New Years is right around the corner!!!! 🎄We have been very busy around here so wanted to pop on to make a post! We are filling up fast for boarding/ board and train for the end of the year and the beginning of next.

A few training options! 🐶

1: One on one Private lessons!
A great way to get your dogs training started and is very much hands on with owner and dog working on the things your need! There are both onsite and inhome training options. You can schedule as many lessons as you like until you feel you have the skills and knowledge to apply them at home in day to day life.

2: Board and Train!
Your dog would stay with me (Certified Professional Dog Trainer) on my home property and has daily training! You can schedule anything from a few days to a multiple week stay. For every week your pup is here you also get follow up lessons one on one for free. However long your dog is here we strive to continue in your dog’s training journey and help you and your dog reach your goals! You also have the option to add day training to your dogs regularly boarding stay if you wish! A great way to get some training practice in while you are out of town!

We also have group classes scheduled pFetch-A-Bone Dog Groomingnd have a professional groomer on site .

Much anticipated fall group class! This is a laid back basic obedience class that will be located here at Hero K9 Academy covering all basic obedience skill sets and good manner. Goal is to get you and your dog on the right track! This is also a great way to refine what your dog already knows in a new location and around other pups! 🐶🍁

Have some board and train spots available for September time frame as well! Your dog would be on my home property and worked with and treated as if one of my own! Let us know if you would like to get your dog locked into the calendar.

Pictured here is Max who was with me boarding for 4 days last week and we did some add on training days during his stay! He came back for a follow up lesson this last weekend to go over what we worked on during his stay, so happy with how much he learned during his short stay here. Excited to continue to see his progress! As a trainer my goal is to see you and your dog succeed together and to build relationship! 🩵🐶
