Yesterday was bittersweet. We said goodbye to our sweet Tina last night. We knew she wasn't doing well and planned to put her down later in the week. Tina had a wonderful last day with several current and former students coming to say goodbye. Tina had lots of love, grooming, hugs, and carrots. Tina started having blood come out of her mouth just before we put her back out in her pasture for the night, so we ended up calling the vet. Our 4 month old daughter Rosemary met and sat on Tina for the first time while we were waiting on the vet. Tina was the sweetest and best lesson horse I could have asked for. She was with me for 11 years and taught lessons regularly up until February. She will be greatly missed. Tina had a long good life passing at 28 years old. Goodbye, sweet girl. We love you! Thank you for everything.
