Here's Skylar playing the gift drop-off game! Tina didn't understand that she was supposed to stop to pick up and drop off the gifts. She just wanted to go fast!!!! Better luck next time, Skylar!
Here's Kayln playing the gift drop-off game! She won! Kit is very good at stopping and standing still!
All the kids worked hard during no stirrup November! Baylee enjoyed working on cantering without stirrups.
No stirrup work on the lungeline is a great way to improve your balance and strength! Here is Skylar and Kit cantering with no stirrups!
Skylar is working on cantering with no stirrups! Great job, Skylar!
Long time no see! It was fun working with Hannah today. Even though she hasn't ridden in at least 2 years, she did great! Look at that posture! So nice and tall!

No Stirrup November is underway! The kids are working hard on becoming more balanced, stronger, and moving better with the horses this month! Here is Kayln doing the sitting trot with no stirrups and frogging for the first time!
Go, Carlisle! She is getting much better at rising the trot and braver about letting go!
Carolin has been taking lessons for about a month now. Last lesson, she figured out how to keep the rhythm of the rising trot without bouncing! Next, we'll work on learning correct diagonals and continuing to improve her balance. Good job, Carolin!

Tina is a great horse, but she is bouncy for trotting! Skylar did well rising the trot with Tina this week without a saddle. A real balance test! Since Tina is old and has a more prominent spine, we use a bareback pad to help protect Tina's spine and keep our butt from hurting. Good job, Skylar! 👏

I'm so proud of Baylee for how well she did sitting the trot bareback yesterday! Baylee stayed relaxed, balanced, and moved with Kit correctly. Kit was very attentive and responsive. Kit did exactly as Baylee asked. Great job, Baylee!! 👏 😍

Peyton is getting more confident about letting go of the bucking strap while trotting. She used to get very scared to even try trotting, much less let go! Peyton is getting better balanced in her legs and seat so she feels more secure.
