Established by Dr. Glenn Lawhon, senior, it was passed to his son, Dr. Glenn J. When the second Dr. Lawhon retired, Sandy Memorial was then passed along to Dr. Nicki Taylor. As a Clemson University and Virginia Tech graduate, Dr. Taylor’s goal is to offer exceptional patient care. As a life-long Hartsville native, she provides that care with friendly, small-town customer service. Along with her co

urteous and dedicated staff, Dr. Taylor offers services including vaccinations and preventive health care, surgeries and post-surgical care, emergency services and hospitalization, boarding and grooming, and acupuncture. The hospital’s full-service pharmacy carries both prescription and over the counter medications and supplies, ranging from shampoos to heartworm and flea preventions. There was a terrible fire next door to the hospital tonight. We were able to get all the animals out safely and all are resting comfortably in my garage for the night. The hospital luckily only sustained substantial smoke damage. Please pray for the owners of the gaming store next door though. Thank you so much to the fire department, police department, and all rescue folks who helped me get the animals out to safety. Please pray for all of these folks, as well as the gaming store folks as we all sort through this tragic event.

Kevin Smith is looking for his baby girl. Her name is Petula and she's been missing since September 4th from the fox hollow area. She has bites healing on a back of her ears from mosquitos. Please be on the lookout and help her find her way back to her family.
