I was asked to try and bail some of the young mustangs at Peabody kill pen. Normally I would love to help but I don't bail the reason for this is because my sponsors only budget for the feed, vet care, farrier, transport and training for rehab horses I sadly do not have a budget section for bailing. Now I do have people that bail and then give them to the Sactuary to rehabilitate gentle if needed and then find them life long homes or let the old ones stay on the Sactuary.
I do have one person who wants to sponsor and bail one. I'm not a fan of asking for money, I'm actually working on products to sell to raise extra funds for situations like this.
If others would like to do what the one sponsor is then that is fine. Just let me know.

Got to see Duke and Ranger out at the Sactuary pastures. They're doing pretty well! Looking handsome and amazing for 20 and 21 yr old men.

Lady one of the two old broodmares brought here she is 22yrs old. Drought has not been kind to this older gal and her owners did not want to have to part with her to someone that might flip her so she was brought in with a 25yr old broodmare.

Finally have gotten around to making a page like I have been requested to.
Welcome to Untamed Harts Mustang Rehabilitation and Sanctuary. I am currently a Privately Funded Rehabilitation and Sanctuary that's goal is to help mustangs and horses in need. Taking on Older Mustangs in need of a soft landing, Mustangs that do not settle into the ways of domestic life, Ones that are crippled and just need a place to land to be safe. I also take on as rehabilitation the 'plain janes" ones that have been overlooked many times and help them find loving forever homes. I have also been taking in as of recently horses that are in need of a lot of weight as the owners have hit bad moments in life and can no longer afford to keep them. One they are rehabilitated the owners have given permission for me to help find them loving homes also.
The reason I started this, was because of two Devil's Garden mares that I purchased for a dollar each. They were older and had been passed over by others, being the soft hearted person I was I purchased both to give them a soft landing. I had already been into the mustang end of it for awhile and been into horses since I was born having grown up on a ranch. I did not know at the time that the age of these two was a lot older than what was originally stated. It was fine though as I wanted to just give them a place. I had people reach out to me about taking on older mustangs that they could not handled and even had someone bring me a group of older burros to just let them live. From there my rehabilitation and Sanctuary was born. Being a soft landing for these old and gentled souls is a beautiful and bittersweet journey full of everlasting memories. Being older horses and burros you never know when they will decide its their time to cross the rainbow bridge. But their memories still live on here.
