It is with a broken heart that I am sharing this. Our goofy rescue doodle Tig, has lost his battle with cancer this past weekend.
As some of you know, he had SRT radiation to shrink his brain tumor a couple months back at Upstate Vet. He exceeded expectations and did so well for a month and a half after the treatment. A couple weeks ago we started noticing some of the early symptoms coming back and put him back on steroids. Then the facial seizures started happening so we upped his medications for that. Fast forward a week and we had to take him to the emergency vet due to seizure activity. He seized and passed away there Sat night.
Tig came to us 8 yrs ago thru a rescue situation, adopted by our son but bonded with our pack. I wouldn’t let our son take him when he moved out.
Tig was loved by everyone including our guardian girls that came to breed. They all thought he was the perfect boyfriend but Tig just thought they were excited to play 😆. When we brought Ry into our pack, he finally had his little buddy to play with. And play they did! The two of them were partners in crime. I have so many pics of them together.
Our big goofball is gone just shy of 9 yrs old.
I know he is finally at peace but that doesn’t feel the void he left.

Just over 2 mins of uninterrupted puppy play time this morning. They may be a little wet from the morning dew but they don’t care. I love starting the day knowing our BellaBabies get fresh air and exercise!
This will go on for about 30-45 mins then it’s nap time til lunch.
