Oh ya know, just doing a quick dress rehearsal for tomorrow’s winter storm 🥴. I have boots for our senior girl and a bigger coat just in case.

As we bid farewell to 2024, we are filled with gratitude for all the wonderful BellaDoodle families, guardians, and pups who have become part of our journey. We cherish the friendships, the love, and the incredible experiences we've shared over these years. Celebrating 14 years and 7 generations of amazing BellaBabies has been a blessing. Our beautiful Bella would be so proud of the family we've built together, and we look forward to continuing her legacy in the years to come. Here’s to embracing new adventures and joyful moments in 2025! ❤️

Happy almost 2025!
Our final litter of 2024 BellaBabies left a few weeks ago, so I have been enjoying a little downtime 🙂 But never fear; 2025 is coming in with a bang as we anxiously wait to meet our first 2 litters of BellaBabies in the upcoming week.

But there is something else I wanted to share with you right now.
If you are local, you may have seen the news coverage regarding rescuing a dog with her 8 pups. Long story short, a couple had their precious Ellie Mae go missing back in Sept in Fair Play, SC, which is I-85 exit 2 in South Carolina. They have never given up hope while following up on any leads that could be her. This is precisely what happened when they spotted a dog ( now called Willow) on a trail camera set up to get a visual on a dog that may be Ellie Mae. Willow appeared to have pups on the trail cam pictures. With help from a few people, they could finally follow her to 'the den" and catch her with 4 of her babies. The other 4 pups were nowhere to be found. Not giving up hope, they returned the next day with Willow and saw the other 4 pups. Keep in mind you are getting the Cliffnote version of this.
So, how does this involve me? I contacted Jeannine ( the human for missing Ellie Mae) to offer my knowledge of momma dogs with pups. This was before they were able to physically get them. Jeannine and I have become fast friends. She and her husband are the biggest dog lovers! Once the pups were safely with them, I was able to pay them a visit to take their pictures and get in lots of puppy cuddles. Momma Willow did such a great job producing 8 very healthy pups. I donated an Embark test, so hopefully, we have results soon on what breed they are but I think it's pretty obvious. The pups were so well-behaved for photos, and I had zero problems trimming their nails. This is not what I expected for 8 pups 4-5 weeks old with zero human interaction.
Some of them have the bluest eyes! Every dog deserves a family that loves them.

Our puppy play yard has gotten an upgrade! We now have Astro Turf. I don’t know who loves it more, me or the pups! It has been my goal since we built this house but then Covid hit. It is special pet turf with more weep holes for drainage and of course, my husband was a rock star getting it #lakehartwell #goldendoodles #turfinstallation #animalovers #homeimprovements done 🥰.

Our Muppets litter has made their playground debut and they tackle the toys with steps. We all need a little bit of their determination ! It is so fun to watch these 11 babies play, grow and learn.
